This filter media works well for filtering iron out of our well water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are some AMAZING sediment filters. They are made of polypropylene fiber and works great at filtering sediment out. If you have it hooked up to filter the entire house then the filters wont last as long but if you put where the drinking water is, the filters will last a lot longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been fascinated by water filters used by outdoor enthusiasts. Imagine drinking right out of a stream without worry of any contamination. Note I have the same confidence for water in my house regardless of what may happen to their water supply system. This filter stains out the smallest particulates. It’s nice to have that piece of mind. Especially when you see the sediments stirred up when the city opens a nearby hydrant.

Reviews a lot of sediment as the charcoal version really doesn't.

The product is fine, the Portchester Store is a Disaster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost half of the aisles were blocked by machines and or employees just standing around. This was mid morning on a Saturday. Hint, stock the shelves in 'off' hours and fire the management as this seems to be the normal!

I was disappointed that there were not enough in stock to receive the quantity discount even though the website said there were more than enough in stock.

I would never drink straight from the tap but I do now. Really like this product and highly recommend if you have gross city water like we do.

The Whole House filter is reasonably priced and efficient. Immediately the water tasted better. So far so good. It was simple to install and is easy to replace the filter.
