Amazing
I upgraded from a 1980’s 24” gas double oven to a 30” GE double electric convection. This oven is amazing. It pre heats quickly. Easy to use functions.

    Quality Product
    I have owned many ovens and this is the best oven I have ever used. Needless to say everything works as advertised. When I set a temperature the oven stays at that temperature. I love the easy roll out shelves, no screeching when I pull them out. The lighting is excellent as well.

        I love the touch control panels, the lighted LED timer on the front, the fact that I can cook multiple things at once with the double rack cooking feature! Works great and looks great!

          Love, Love, Love this Double Oven
          This oven is heavier than either of our last 2 double ovens, but cooks better. Our other double ovens would blow hot air on you as you were in front, not this one though. Just a soft warm air at the very base. Love it!

                Defect in motherboard
                I have had to replace the motherboard 11/20. It is now 2/22 and getting the F34 code again which is the motherboard. I should not have to spend big bucks replacing this every 1.5 to 2 years. Very disappointed!

                  Disappointing!
                  We have had this oven for 3 years. I did my homework and saw that this oven was on many of the "best" lists. Even though the racks scrape horribly against the "rails" when you pull them in and out, I still initially loved this oven. It bakes very evenly, and it was nice to have two ovens. We cook fairly often. However, we have intermittently gotten an F96 code over the last two years, and now it will not work at all. After some research, it appears that this is an issue with this product. The cooling fan on the upper oven is out (not to be confused with the convection fan, also in the upper part of the oven), which will also make the lower oven inoperable. At least I hope that is all that is wrong. I live in a rural area, and the repair people here don't want to work on it, citing that it's "too heavy" and "too big of a job". It looks like I'll be ordering the part and replacing it myself. YouTube to the rescue ;-)

                    Great Oven
                    I am a home baker. I bake about 5 days a week. It is an accurate and even baking oven. The double convection is a big plus. I use the multi rack function the most and I am quite pleased. There may be betters ovens out there, but not at this price. Great bang for your buck

                        We love the look and design. These ovens are professional grade and will do anything you need them to do. You can even program them by your phone!

                          Not reliable
                          Worked fine the first couple years. It has not worked for over two months now. Replaced a sensor four times. Still not working. Now waiting on a board. Sad thing is it is the top oven that went bad and it won’t let us use the bottom oven.

                              TOO MANY ISSUES WITH SELF CLEANING AND OVERHEATING
                              We bought the model home with a lot of upgrades but whenever we used the self cleaning option, the oven would over heat and we could not use it until the repairman reset the oven. They replaced it but we continued to have issues. They of course blamed the poor installation indicating it should have better ventilation but I pointed out that it was advertised to work without outdoor vents.

                                  Inconsistent Temps!
                                  We've had this JK5500SF3SS double oven for 4 years. We're having the same issues as others here in that the temps are inconsistent and don't remain on temp. Recently the infamous F97 code has shut us down. My question is: Should we change the lower oven cooling fan only or can replacing sensors possibly heal the temp inconsistency as well?

                                        Our chicken turns out perfect everytime!! I still need to figure out the convection and temperature probe. It is beautiful!! Looking forward to many years of perfectly cooked roasts, chickens, etc!!

                                          Doesn't bake evenly
                                          Bought this over in April and since day 1 it never baked correctly. I bake bread and takes over an hour and muffins, the crust burns and the inside is raw. I have been baking for over 20 years and never had an issue like this before. I WILL NEVER BUY GE AGAIN!!! Now less than a year later, I'm gonna have to buy a new oven so i can cook and bake, since GE refuses to stand behind this and maybe admit i got a dud unit

                                            Really like this oven. Controls for ovens and timer could be clearer, more central or condensed, I think. Didn’t think I’d like the remote app to control oven, but it’s pretty nifty and easy to use. Wished it came with a second rolling rack, one for each oven. We bought one online and they’re not cheap. Worth it though. Bakes like a champ, I otherwise LOVE this oven!

                                              I've always wanted a double convection oven and found the perfect opportunity to get one with our new house. I have only used it for 3 months but I absolutely love it. The convection oven works great. Today I used the probe while cooking a brisket and love that once the meat hit the temperature I set it turned the oven off! The sliding racks are a great feature too! There is also an app for your phone from which you can remotely turn on either oven . It also tells you when the oven is preheated and when your timer is going off . The only complaint that I have is that when the remote feature is enabled it doesn't stay on all of the time but has to be manually turned on. It's a little frustrating when I'm away from home and need to turn the oven on only to be told that the remote feature is not enabled. But that is just one very small annoyance. The other benefits far outweigh that. All in all, with only 3 months of use, I totally love this oven!

                                                Two and a half years after buying a new home with all new GE appliances this double wall oven displayed an error code F97. Other neighbors have experienced the same problem. GE refuses to do anything.

                                                  Poor Quality
                                                  This oven came In a new home we bought. After only two and a half years the complete oven stopped working showing an F97 error code. I have talked to some of my neighbors and found that they have had the same problem. Also to add insult to injury the needed part is on back order. I am 75 and this is the first time I have ever had a problem like this.
