Perfect size and Wattage
Mounted under a cabinet, used the specified mounting kit, the plug (@ the microwave) sticks about beyond the specified spacers for the wall… used the maximum depth spacers, worked great.

          Great value for what it features
          We love the simplicity of this products. Very straightforward operations and cooking aids even included inside the door when you just are not sure. Very sleek design which pairs perfectly with our oven when a trim kit was added.

                Longevity?
                Our 3-year old microwave has worked great for us up to this point but has developed a foggy glass recently. I realize it comes with a Limited 1Year Warranty, but I question why buy an appliance that only lasts for a few years?

                  Good fit
                  When our 14 year old GE low profile microwave died, we were pleased to find out GE still makes it albeit a little bigger. It still fit in our custom cabinet but it required a new trim kit. This model does not seem as substantial as our old one but it looks good and fits well. Easy install.

                    Perfect for the island!
                    This microwave fits perfectly into our new island. It’s a lower wattage than our last microwave, but simply adding a little bit of extra time warms everything up nicely and evenly. Simple, easy to use design.

                      Very quiet
                      This product replaced our under cabinet microwave that quit working after about 20 years. This one is remarkably quiet, which is nice. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the door is a little clunky and loud when you close it.

                          Perfect size for counter
                          We’ve purchased this model microwave before due to it’s size that fits perfectly on the countertop leaving usable space in front. It’s not as powerful as other mid-size microwaves, but we’ve found the power to be just right.

                            Fabulous Space-Maker Microwave
                            This little microwave is a real game changer. It fits/mounts under a 24-27" width upper cabinet without being 'proud' of a standard 12" depth cabinet. We've used this model for over 7 years with no issues of any kind. What a great find!

                              GE Profile PCM 31SFSS
                              It's operation and menu are great. However the control panel is difficult to read without an overhead lamp. The panel buttons are black with light gray characters/words. The GE microwave I replaced had the opposite color of the buttons; White with Black characters/words. Much better contrast and easy to read without additional room lighting.

                                Failing after only 3 years
                                I bought this microwave in 2018 when we were remodeling our kitchen because it was the only one that had a shallow enough depth. I was happy with the performance until now, only 3 years later, and of course out of warranty, one of the elements on the digital display has failed. Not sure what can even be done about this.

                                  This microwave is perfect for smaller spaces without sacrificing any if the features. Spacious enough inside for all your needs.

                                    Costly
                                    We purchase this one to replace the similar model that stopped working. We needed this size because the location was custom made for it. The price is out of line for the similar other brands. Even our sales person mention it is over priced. We could not find another brand that fit. Door closes noisily.

                                      Spacesaver GE Microwave
                                      I have bought the GE Spacesaver microwave at least 5 times over the last 30 years, not because I love it, but because the space in my cabinet was built for these. And every time we have to buy a new one, the trim kit doesn’t fit the newer model. These models are ridiculously priced as are the trim kits. And, they are not durable. I also don’t like that they are not 1000 watts.

Due to different configurations and design changes involving airflow and heat issues, new microwaves are only approved for installation with current trim kits.                                         Great features, functionality and looks
                                        Replaced a 30 year (working well) microwave to match our new GE Induction range/convection oven. Works great, very quiet and stylish. Do somewhat miss handle on older model vs push-button door release. It seems less durable, but easy to keep clean.

                                          I had a kitchen remodel and needed a microwave that would fit in space, salesman recommended this one and I love it. It is perfect for our needs (basically reheating and popcorn ). It is quiet, looks great and gets the job done. It is only 800 watts, but that's not a problem for us.

                                            Not so sure.
                                            Bought this to replace same older model that died. This is only model that will fit in my custom kitchen. Opened box and sloppy paint job. Will see how it performs when I first use it but it is smaller interior than prior same model. Less push buttons and panel doesn’t light up.

                                              Perfect size!
                                              I have an old kitchen with steel cabinets. I replaced an old, huge hood style microwave with this one. The size is absolutely perfect. It is not as powerful as my old unit. But it has not been an issue. I did put it over the cooktop. I have a ceiling vent fan.

                                                Great features
                                                Our new GE replaced the exact same Model Microwave we had installed 15 years earlier which would still be working if our son hadn’t place his snow mittens which were ladened with metal inside of them. Although they look identical, this new one had so many features the older model didn’t. We use it every day.

                                                    The large capacity and instant cook features made this a good choice! With the trim kit it was an easy installation for this all thumbs handyman. I only wish that it was an 1000 watt instead of an 800 watt.

                                                        This is our second purchase of this model to replace a built in unit. The first unit developed an electrical problem. I did not explore a repair due to my fear of a possible house fire. This unit has adequate size and power for a home kitchen application. My wife “loves it.” The controls are easy and simple. The glass plate included is durable. It is attractive and complements our other black colored appliances.

                                                            The keypad is very difficult to see because the numbers and letters are too small and they are not white or wide enough. This also makes it hard to press within the space especially if you have arthritis. Also, it takes too many unnecessary steps to program .
