Bought this dyer 5 months ago..no problems..great features.

I haven't hooked up the steam feature yet, however I love the rest of the features of this dryer. The dryer is so gentle I can even dry clothes which I wasn't able to put in my previous dryer.

GE is a good choice among all the companies that's out there.

I often find my dryer has turned off and the clothes are still damp. I also have a problem with the SENSE message displaying and not drying the clothes.

I've had this dryer for 4 months now. It's quiet, fast, and dries my clothes very well.

Bought 5 days ago, and already heat has been inconsistent. Worked day 1, since then heat has been intermittent. I checked the wiring again, as well as the ductwork which was all fine. Tested vent temperature which stayed at about 110°F, which seemed low according to some online research. In additionaddition, this unit runs loud, there is a loud hum from mine that clocks in at 70 decibels. Hopefully GE will be helpful in fixing the unit, will update review with more info.

I have had and used my matching set for a while now. The features on the dryer are fantastic. I use the warm up feature alot! The steam refresh is also a fantastic feature. I love that this machine is so user friendly and with as many options that it has, still so simple.

Quick delivery. Good price. Had to replace another manufacturer's washer, due to long lead time on part. For room configuration, needed to stack units, so we had to replace dryer as well even though nothing wrong with our other HE dryer. Home Warranty paid for washer, we paid for dryer. Have had about a week. When on high extract cycle, washer is loud and vibrates hardwood floor notably - possibly because it is in a larger room with very little baffling to muffle sound. Next wash, we will try it on lower extract cycle. One wash load came out with several items having some sort of 'metallic' staining on them. We don't think that we put anything in the load that should have caused this but can't say that for certain, are monitoring other loads to see if there is something going on with the washer itself - so far haven't noticed any more of that. Should it happen again, we will coordinate with local appliance store from which we purchased, for warranty repair/replacement. All that having been said, we are satisfied with this unit.

Go to a popular video site and search for "Suburban MacGyver" to hear the noise my dryer is making after 2 service visits. It made noise from day one. GE can't seem to fix it.

It dries clothes very quickly with multiple modes.

Had it for 4 months and it works great. Got more space because their stackable.

It looks great but it didn't work. had to take it back to the dealer. Quality control was substandard.

We upgraded to this dryer as part of our new home and was greatly surprise by how efficient and quiet it was.

Doesn't dry due to touchy sensor ,shuts off to quick , have to run more than once even on Bulky setting. Other than that seems to work okay.

Purchased 6 months ago. Love it however I'm still getting used to how to use the steam dryer part of it

quiet running, signal should be louder, hard to hear from laundry room

So glad i bought this. I did a lot of research before buying this dryer. My wife is so happy with the choice i made with out asking her :-)

Bought this dryer about 4 months ago. Operates quietly, however the design of the lint screen is rather poor. Lint can easily get past this screen, and is thus difficult to remove from the cavity below the screen area. As a professional engineer, I feel that it's important to not have areas where lint can easily accumulate, particularly where it is difficult to remove. Thank you. In addition, it would really be nice to see a dryer that uses rollers instead of pads to support the front of the drum.

I like the dryer very much. The steam feature was great for refreshing items and "ironing" the table cloths. The "damp dry" comes out pretty dry, but there is a setting for even less dry. I do all my clothes on damp dry and they come out ready to be put away.

We bought as package with stove and got a great dishwasher at no cost. This is the best most efficient dryer we've had in 40 years
