We love our GE gas range and cooktop. Works great and it is easy to clean.

I am amazed how simple & easy to clean. After using a glass top electric stove (and not loving the up keep) I’m happy to admit I love my new stove . The cooking time is quick and it is a huge plus during canning season . The other feature is the placement of the knobs being place near the top vs than in the front thus prevents accidental turning on the gas. Overall a good price for this basic range.

This is a great looking range and have awesome features.

While planning our kitchen remodel and put a lot of thought into appliance choices. We did not want the stainless steel because of the finger prints and the slate is perfect. The stove is so beautiful and hot we named her Stella! I love cooking on my new stove and could not be happier with it.

Really nice mid-range stove. I paid 35% off list and had 18 months 0% interest and still feel like it was a little over-priced. Mys husband really wanted the dark color though and the color is really nice. Have had it for about a month now with pretty constant use. Pros: Cook top is really nice. I love the super high and the super low burners. Im happy with the 5th burner being a simmer burner, rather than a fake griddle burner. My last stove had the elongated middle burner, but unless the BTUs on that one are high, its kind of worthless. I really like the two part stove top-- makes maneuvering pots super simple, and they fit fine in my dishwasher. They are also not enameled like my last stove, so they cant chip. Have baked a lot in it and have gotten really consistent results which is nice. Cons: It is the same width but much deeper than my last stove, so its sticks out from the cabinets too much (trade off is the oven is nice and big). The convection fan cycles on and off constantly, which is really strange and makes the heat inconsistent at times. The broiler is terrible-- its undersized and only straight down the middle, so if you want to melt the cheese on top of a pizza for example, you have to have the top rack all the way up, and have to rotate the pizza half way through. Its honestly a big bummer on a stove this price. The control panel is really cheap and crinkly. Its that kind of plastic buttons that delaminates and gets all bubbly after a while. Will be a shame because I bet that will be the first part to go on this stove and will make it look really junky. Final con is the storage drawer. Its not a warming drawer, and it is really thin sheet metal with no drawer mechanism or latch, so its constantly just opening (as you can see in the picture). Overall I think it looks really nice and cooks well, but make sure you get a good price. If you are willing to spend the full price, I think there are better options. Obviously I need to redo my whole kitchen so we were looking for a well priced slide-in gas stove in a darker color and we are happy.

I bought this not even a week ago and I LOVE IT! I have actually had my eye on this range for 6 months. Did a lot of research and narrowed my needs aka desires to this one range. I love that I can use the oven as traditional or convection, this was one of my requirements in a range. My husband suggested the slate with our cabinet colors and floors. I am thankful he has the designer eye, I absolutely love the slate. There are too many things I love about this range from the sides that hangover and "glide" (not scratch) across my granite and keep food from going down sides to the oven controls locking to keep curious fingers from playing with the beeping buttons. Couldn't be happier about my decision!

This range fits nicely in my slide-in spot and provides the look and feel of a range that is wider than 30".

I purchased all new GE appliances in the slate color...I love it! I have had GE products before and I have never had any problems yet. I love the way it bakes...the convection is awesome! Five burners are nice to have too...especially during the holidays.

Bought this stove about 2 weeks ago and I'm thoroughly enjoying it! The color is awesome... shows less "dirt" and is easier on the eyes. Clean up is easier than my last stove which was also a GE gas range and was black (15 years old).

I have had electric stoves for the past several years, but this range cooks so much quicker. I especially like the 5th burner in the middle.

Our new GE slide-in Stove replaces a 65 year old range that served us well. My husband loves the commercial look of it and the power burner is great. Still not sure how to use everything but it seems easy enough. The concern will be how easy it cleans up after several uses. But everything seems easy enough to take apart for cleaning. The oven is huge and I am happy have a working broiler again.

I purchased my oven and microwave because I wanted to get away from the shiny stainless steel. I am extremely happy with the color and style of the range and microwave I purchased.

This stove is so easy to use and installation was a breeze too. It looks awesome in my kitchen and I am so happy with it.

Absolutely love this stove for my beach house at the NJ shore. Fits perfectly into a 30" opening and has crumb guards on each side that slide over the edges of the counter so nothing slips down the sides. It looks classy and fits right in with the rest of my SS appliances.. FYI, I have a Maytag DW, Frigidaire Refridgerator and Sharp microwave, and you can't tell they are different brands. I have the same GE Cafe model at my primary residence and this one has stronger burners and cooks my oatmeal faster, so beware. The grates are cast iron, and don't scratch and are very heavy, so they feel real solid. I can't say too many good things about it, but I have only owned it for 3 months as of May 2016, so time will tell. .

Focusing on the stove for this review: The oven temp was accurate, the grates and under grate areas clean easily, the burners fire up fast and burn bright. Install was easy, level, and fast. Clean up of the front panel, door, and handle is straight forward. Yes to this stove.

This is a beautiful oven. i've been using it for about a month now. it cleans up amazingly well for stainless steel. The top grill pattern is very smart and usable. My only complaint is the arrangement of the burners. I simmer more than cook, so I would like a front smaller btu burner. small complaint i know, and i live with it just fine. now for the oven: I love the double broil option. it also cleans up remarkable well. the smart features on this product are very easy to use. i love the convection option as well. I bake at least 5 days a week and have no complaints with how this oven performs. Everything cooks evenly. I found i don't need to adjust baking temps or times for the convection which makes keeping my recipes constant a lot easier. I also like how the edges hang over the counter a bit, i have not dropped one thing between the oven and counter since i got it! The bottom storage drawer slides out easier than any other oven i have ever used. This is a pricey oven on my budget, I even got it on sale, but with my excessive use, so far, I feel it has been worth every penny!

Excellent oven. Have had it now since June of 2014 and was installed as part of a complete remodel. It works really good and has quite a few features that we have yet to use (or figure out). Slides on plastic feet protectors which is good and adjusts very well so we fit it into place without any issues what so ever. It has a recessed gas connection area which is perfect for allowing you to slide the range in as close to the wall as possible leaving only the minimum required by the manufacture.

OMG is the first thing I want to say. It is sleak, low profile and perfect in my budget french modern kitchen. The 5 burners are amazing and powerful. The oven is more than functional and there is plenty of space in the bottom drawer to hold pans/pots. The other thing I love is that the stove, under the burners, is stainless steel not black. It was easy to install but heavy. It comes with a child proof attachment to the wall. If you open the door hard and quickly the stove slightly tips forward. My only advice is to purchase the stainless steel wipes from Weiman. The stove needs to be cleaned constantly due to smudges and oil spray stain.

This stove replaced a different company's stove that we hated because the panel circuits constantly died or latched the oven on full blast. We replaced the board three times and then gave up. We have had NO problems in the stove or the oven since we bought this one.

Have had this range over a year now replacing an electric range and couldn’t be happier. From convection oven to the middle grate to being able to clean the oven with just water this stove has exceeded all of our expectations.

I bought this stove about three years only & Paid $1900.00 for it & now its not working & GE wants me to buy anther, so sad that they are not standing behind their products

Really like this range so far; it is the same size across as our previous one but the inside is more spacious and there are 5 burners. Cooks evenly, display is easy to use. Does seem to emit a bunch of heat out the back which prompts the hood fan to kick up a notch. Safety first!

The leveling jacks are made of cheap plastic. The front left jack was stripped at the factory, the right front jack is loose, the others are tight. I had to level the oven with a shims. How did it pass inspection?

Quiet, effective and just work, I mean it is a stove not an airplane. But it quiet so sometimes you don’t know it’s working, but that’s a good thing

Has all the features we needed. Was had at a great price since it was a floor model.

The 5 burner are great. I can cook for whole family in a shorter amount of time.

I researched gas ranges for about 4 months. I wanted 5 burners, but no oval (a waste of space for this cook), Sealed burners for easy clean up, no bells or whistles (simplicity for me), and in WHITE (extremely hard to find nowadays). I finally found this GE in a Mom and Pop shop. I’m almost completely in love with it. The stove top of the range functions great and is easy to use. The control panel is located in front so it does get in the way when trying to reach the back burners. The oven controls are digital and here’s where it becomes problematic. They are not intuitive, the directions are barebones so you have to figure things out by trial and error. I have not even attempted to use the convection option because I don’t have the time to learn this new skill yet. Setting the timer has similar issues, not intuitive. This range is a workhorse in our home and so far I’m very pleased.
