This is my first gas range and I'm really liking it so far. I love how easy it is to clean.

I bought this GE Profile gas cook top about a month ago and I am really impressed with it. The cooktop maintains a low simmer heat very well. Overall, the quality and workmanship are what I would expect in a high end commercial grade cook top. I am very happy with it and am also glad it is made in the US!

Have been very pleased and enjoyed cooking on this attractive gas cooktop. I especially like the center power boil burner as I do canning and cook large pots of soup. I entertain a lot and actually cook and serve from the cooktop in my island. It's easy to keep clean, and I love it!

Just got this stove and I love the flame settings that provide steady flames. The range lock adds a peace of mind when there are young children around and the included griddle makes cooking breakfast a breeze

We have only had this cooktop for about a week, but the few times I've used it, I have been pleased! The large burner ring puts out plenty of heat for a large pot. It's nice to have the extra burner also. The knobs have a light and lockout feature that is great for a home with small children. Love that we can use the included griddle too! Make sure your installer uses the correct orifices for the type of gas you have-our installer put the wrong size on for natural gas, so we had huge flames in places and no flames in other places there should have been....

Simmers, Boils, and looks amzing. Stylish, backlit knobs, safety controls, and a griddle too! I could not be happier.

That center burner can boil water incredibly fast.

Was excited to have gas cooktop, but am terribly disappointed at how slow it is to heat. Unfortunately, it had been installed several months before I actually used it, so store-return wasn't possible. I contacted GE about grates obviously being too high away from heat source. Hoping they will provide better-fitting grates-----or replacement of unit.

IT'S THE ONLY OPTION BUILDER OFFERED. WE HAD IT ALMOST 2 YEARS, HAD 2 KNOBS REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY, NOW NEEDS 2 MORE, AND ARE NOT CHEAP.

I just got my beautiful stove top installed and it is so beautiful! I love the grill feature on this appliance. I also love how quickly it heats up.

After searching and reviewing many options we were in agreement this was the product we wanted and were looking for

First time I have ever cooked on gas. LIKE but still getting used to it and learning some tips and tricks. Metal grates are heavy and a little cumbersome to clean. Overall, attractive, useful features.

Love the lighted controls (helps me remember to turn the burners off) and the high power settings. Love the center burner especially the very low setting. Heavy duty construction good too. Dislike the distance from the burner to the bottom of the pan - not only is heat lost but pot handles get hotter than with my previous stove. Thinking of taking a hacksaw to my next can of pumpkin to make a 2.5" high ring to channel the heat up to the pot.

Every thing looks good except I has noticed rust spots on the center stove.

I cook a lot and Gas is the only way to go. This cook top performs very well and i would tell anyone to buy it!

Since we installed this cooktop a few months ago, we've been enjoying our cooking. We had replaced an old electric cooktop, so new and gas make cooking great. The grills are great for sliding pots across. The Lodge griddle is fantastic for cooking everything, though a reminder to cure it first and regularly with a little oil. It is everything I expected it to be and worth the money. If there is a complaint, it's that the grills are high off the counter, but that is minor.

This product has met our expectations and we are pleased with its performance for the time we have had it.

I have had this cook top for almost a year. It's very easy to keep clean. I really like the large Powerboil Burner since I often use a large pot for soups and pasta.

Just received my new stove top and we are so happy with the locking out device and how the burners heat up. The stainless finish is really nice.

We bough this to replace an older one and so pleased with it. The center back burner is great when I can. I used it for quick very heat for pasta or cooking potatoes. I love it, the grate over the burner are very heavy, I can manage but it makes me feel that the whole stove top is made well.

Have had my gas cooktop for over a year and am very happy with it...but do agree that the grates are too high..or the burners are too low. Wondering if GE has considered making an adapter or replacement part to eliminate this problem?

Only one of the five burners will bring a pot of water to a rolling boil.

The GE Profile series cook top is an excellent product for a kitchen remodel

Only downside is the distance between the burners and the top of the grill surface. If the surface were 1/2-1/4" lower it would save a lot of gas. Otherwise, very happy. I was concerned about having a stainless cooktop from a cleaning perspective, but stains haven't been an issue at all!

I read a lot of reviews of this product, and was initially wary -- were to grates too high for cooking? Was the layout bad? etc. All for naught. We went from a cracked, black-glass electric cooktop to this and couldn't be happier. The grates are NOT too far from your pans. My favorite is it cleans like a dream. A wipe with a damp cloth and you're done. It keeps its shine. Cooking is fast - especially with the powerboil setting. It can hold big pots. it browns things evenly. I like the childproof gas lock, too. I keep it on when I'm not cooking. Overall, this was a beautiful buy. The design is stellar. It cleans and cooks great.
