We purchased this product as part of a kitchen remodel. We already had other GE Profile products that we were keeping after the remodel, so bought another to be consistent. We switched from an electric cooktop unit to this gas until for better cooking control and so that we could cook if we lose power (rarely happens, but does happen). We purchased this particular model because of the clean (and easy to clean) stainless steel look, the heavy-duty grates, that BTU ratings on the burners, and the metal control knobs. We've been using it for about 6 months and are happy with its performance.

Whenever You want to use an eye and you rotate the dial to the light position all of the igniters begin to click as if you are trying to light all 4 burners. I have a GE certified technician coming today 01/22/15 to look at the unit. I do like features and the design of this product.

Purchased this product for newly constructed home. It looks great, is easy to clean and works just as expected. Quick to light and heats food faster than my old cooktop.

still learning- like the gas idea like the rapid boil feature on front right burner also the two smaller and two larger burners

Just built a new house and my GE appliances really completed the home. The look great and function flawlessly.

Good stove for 4 burner. I would prefer to have a 5 burner which my builder doesnt provide a better modelin GE.

We put this unit into a minor kitchen remodel. It fit our opening with no cabinet replacement.

The only disappointment is you can`t remove stains from around burners, I didn`t even spill anything and it looks like something is on it and I cannot remove it with anything I`ve tried.

I love cooking with gas, that being said this stove top is just okay. It is very hard to clean and scratches easily. The middle section of one of the grates broke while I was cooking. It does cook nice and even though.

we like the design and it is easy to clean. The product is strong for a day to day use

So far it is great! Bought it because our friend has one and has loved it for uears.

First time we had a gas cook top this a great unit and cooking with it is fun

I feel the flame is inadequate. Comparing flame height with other brands,I find that this cooktop does not measure up for the BTUs it possesses. Even with the "power boil," it takes too long to boil water.

Bought this product about a month ago, and it is wonderful: large burners, easy to clean, lots of grillwork for moving pots and pans from one burner to another....

This cooktop is very basic but does the trick. It doesn't boil water super fast, but other than that it works fine.

A little disappointed that my black burner grates are already scratched up and trust me, I do not drag my pots and pans across the surface of the grates. I do move them to reposition them sometimes, but there is so much silver showing through the black that they look like they are years old already.

We installed a GE Profile free-standing gas range in our home in Canada. We have now moved back to Minnesota and are excited to have our profile cooktop installed. We have such precise control of heat with GE Appliances.

We have used this for 3 months and love it. It looks great and works better.

This is a good entry level gourmet gas range. I was hoping for more BTUs, but it definitely beats electric.

Looks and operation are better than expected with the different burner sizes.

I recently remodeled my kitchen on a budget. This product was what I was looking for in my need to upgrade. I'm quite happy with it so far.

The cooktop is easy to clean and looks beautiful. The burners light every time.

We like it a lot as it does it work perfect..I heard about GE appliances NOT good but they are totally wrong. Specially my wife loves it , it means good food ..:)

I switched from electric to gas and am so glad I that did. I appreciate how easy it is to turn burners on.

Selected this model from list of available cooktops builder offered. I haven't had gas cooking in a long time so great to have it available again. The cooktop is easy to use; easy to clean, and looks good in overall kitchen space.

Love love love my stove top. I would recommend this to anyone.

I've only had my cooktop a few weeks and had replaced a black glass top which showed EVERY speck. I like the stainless since it doesn't. My only negative so far is that the simmer isn't low enough. I have to make sure it's attended and stirred so food won't scorch or boil over when lidded.

The easy take apart simplifies cleaning. This is probably the feature that sold us.

Great product I like the stove top! I would recommend!
