We bought this new GE refrigerator two years ago. Now, the handle just broke. The connection part for the handle and the body is just a low quality plastic material.

IT IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL, EASY TO CLEAN AND WORKS REALLY WELL

We received our new fridge after a wait of 2 months due to Covid backlog. Well worth the wait. The fridg side has a lot of room and flexibility in shelves and size of door shelves also. Lighting inside is bright and glass shelves help. The display panel is easy to use and can set temp by degree and not just a number. The handles are large and doors are very light and easy to open. One con is the freezer and it’s lack of shelves that are adjustable and the bottom bin has a low front and has a lot of distance between basket front and next shelve. Makes it hard to stack bags of veg. or other items ( fall over / see pic ).

I started to used from morning and all the way it’s working and looking nice. I love it’s price.

This refrigerator came with our new home. It is very small and barely holds week worth of our groceries. The water/ice dispenser is a disaster. Every time you get water, it drips way more than any other water dispenser I’ve used. I now have a towel in front of the freezer to catch the water and prevent falls. All the dripping then leaves streak marks down the front. The best part is the spill proof shelf. I knocked something over and it did not leak in the drawer or behind the shelf.

Looks modern and the different comparments makes so easy to get the food organized.

Plenty of room. Easy to access everything. Very cold water! One negative is no locks on the wheels so don’t pull on the doors too hard. Let ove my fridge.

Keeps things cold. Holds milk in door. Makes ice. :)

The product maintains the set temperature on both sides. Even, when my son leaves the door open, the refrigerator is able to reach the set temperature quickly. Love it!

I only bought this because it was literally the only refrigerator in the size and color that met my needs. I replaced a 20-year old Kitcheaide in bisque because it was slowly dying. Overall I like the look. The inside of the refrigerator is nice, but I agree with others, the freezer side definitely needs at least one more shelf. The two things I do not like are: the water line makes a very loud knocking noise when I use the water dispenser, and the panel on the front of the freezer side only lights up when you touch a button--I could swear the display model in the Home Depot store showed them lit at all times. I called GE about these issues, and was told it was normal for the water line to make this knocking sound when using the water dispenser.....I just find that hard to believe........and, they said on this model the lights on the exterior panel were not meant to light continually. In my mind, what's the point of putting it on the front if they don't show??? It did cool down and it started making ice fairly quickly, but I do hear the motor running a lot, even at the desired temperature, so I'm not "thrilled" with this unit, and only hope I get at least half the life of my old frig out of this. My last comment about this, is that because it is the bisque color, Home Depot or GE charges a premium price of at least $400.00 more than all the other colors it comes in -- were I not a fan of bisque, I would not have paid the price. I think it's very unfair.

I LOVE THIS GE ENERGY STAR SIDE/SIDE REFRIGERATOR FREZZER. ALL THE FEATURES ARE WONDERFUL AND EASY TO USE. SO HAPPY I HAVE THIS GE ENERGY STAR REFRIGERATOR. THREE THUMBS UP

I love it it's best one we ever had thanks to GE. I'm gonna have to try it out and see if I can refer a family or friends thanks again.

It’s a bit bigger than my space but was comparable replacement so best choice. Like the interior except for the bottom shelf/drawer of the freezer, no front so hard to use the space to best advantage.

See below -- it's about the ice crusher. It doesn't work right.

My previous refrigerator was 19 years old. It was a side-by-side. Because of the design of my kitchen, only a side-by-side will work due to an oversized island. That's okay because I like side-by-sides. Honestly, I don't need the water in the door feature or an ice machine, so those were not connected. And yes, those features really do take up lots of space in the freezer side. I dscovered after delivery that I needed another shelf which I ordered from this website. Considering the cost of the refrigerator, I'm disappointed that I had to purchase an addtional shelf. That is why I cannot in good conscience rate 5 stars. The interior is attractive, but wine bottles can only be stored upright on the top shelf with the milk and juice, or horizontally on another shelf. This refrigerator matches my cabinets perfectly and looks great. Just not as functional as my previous fridge.

Best products on earth. I personally would not go with any other brand than GE, they have years or good quality and looks/finishes.

The refrigerator is just what we wanted, water dispenser and ice maker was a must for our family. Great color that fit well with existing appliances.

I like everything about this refrigerator except for the ice maker. It takes up too much room in the freezer and the crushed use mode takes too long, is super loud and doesn’t crush the ice properly.
