The refrigerator makes lots of funny noises. The owner's manual says it's due to the energy saving features. I'm not a fan of the noise. Sometimes it catches me off guard and makes me wonder what's going on in the kitchen GE makes great appliances and I thought this would be a good buy. I've had to replace the handle and the shelf that holds the vegetable and fruit bins at the bottom of the refrigerator.

I am a single woman and don't need all the gadgets anymore. Nice refrigerator for a nice price.

This new frig which we use in our vacation condo has been providing very good service over the past 6 months. It is quiet, provides good temp control, and the ice maker works great. Over time will check how energy efficient it is based on my utility bills.

The new refrigerator arrived inoperable. I was a leak in the coolant line. I was repaired within a few days, but makes me wonder if this will be a problimatic refrigerator.

I had to replace my old appliance, which wasn't energy efficient.

I bought this refridgerater a few weeks ago and like it a lot. The icemaker is kind of loud.

I love having the top freezer..except when I sometimes when I am putting something to the back of the top shelf in the body of the refrigerator..I hit my head from the overhang of the Door of the refeigerator. "I'm Old" :) I owned a ge side by side before this. It lasted me 23 years and was still running when I got rid of it only because the main door kept falling off.. It was a great refeigerator.

My only problems with this refrigerator is that the ice maker takes up too much room in the freezer. I don 't have the space I had before. Also although it says I have more cubic feet, it feels smaller, especially the storage on the door compared to my old GE. Otherwise it is fine.

This is he second refrigerator I've purchased this summer--one for my old home place in E. Ohio where my sister and family are living, and one for my condo in NW Ohio. This unit is basically a modern replacement for the 25-year-old one that was here in my condo when I got here 18 years ago. I am a bit frustrated that I could not, after all, get the rebate for energy efficiency that I was expecting--I am still going to check what symbol was on that yellow tag that led me to believe I could. It led the very helpful store person who helped me order it to think so, too. Delivered as expected, etc. I did have to have some help from a plumber to get ice maker line connected without seeping. So it's sort of a "mixed bag" for me--the old one was pretty well shot, and I can't eve sell the place without something new.

I am satisfied with the refridgerator. However the installation service was sub-standard at its best. I had to install the ice line myself. (I am a 53 yr old female). If I had known I was going to have to do that, I would not have even bothered to buy one with an icemaker.

This refrigerator was purchased in early July for our ski condo. It has worked well so far. Icemaker works reliably. Frig and freezer temps have been maintained. The storage shelves on the frig door are deep enough to hold larger containers including milk and juice. Will update this review after we get more experience.

Not crazy about this model! Had a high learning curve re shelves, etc. Shoots ice cubes everywhere, not just in the container.

This is a very nice looking fridge, leaves no fingerprints, great value and very quiet. The only negative I have is that the ice cube maker has a tendancy to spray some cubes all over the freezer as it empties into the tray. Also, this refrigerator does not have a separate drawer for a carton of eggs and the vegetable bins are extremely flimsly.

I purchased this refrigerator and it ran for two days and stopped working. Trying to deal with GE on the phone was a nightmare. They do not know what they are doing. After two days of long hours on the phone I finally got an appointment to get it repaired. The repair date is 24 days away so I will be without a refrigerator for 26 days. Try doing that. GE is no fun to work with. Wish i could take it back to them.

It's a great refrigerator. It does what it is suppose to. Having a problem installing the ice maker. The color scratches off very easy.

Great quality product - love the features - style - layout. Setup was easy.

Pur in Nov 2013. I chose it because it fit the space perfectly & it was the right color. Wish I had looked harder. It is noisy. I live alone, but I have already had to replace the handle on the exterior. The tray in the freezer has already broken, and the list goes on. So cheaply made. GE used to be better quality.

This refrigerator is always doing something. What compounds the problem is that the icemaker never shuts off. I have opened the freezer and seen the arm functioning that should shut it off. After a recent vacation there was a landslide of ice. So, besides all the noise it makes to just run, when I turn off the icemaker it constantly seems to be doing checks of the icemaker! It keeps the food cold. The price was right. I am not too concerned because appliances don't last 30 years like they used to so I will be looking for another one within 10 years!

This refrigerator has been the worst I've ever owned. It is extremely noisy-sounds like rocks grinding as it goes through its cycle. Called for service after 2 weeks and the serviceman replaced a part. The noise did not improve at all. The noise is embarrassing when people come to visit. The grinding sound has improved a little over the year. I decided to keep it because of limited choices for the space that I have.

I bought my refrigerator around the Thanksgiving&Christmas holidays last year. I was preparing holiday dishes and I needed a good refrigerator to keep my food in. This wa an excellent choice. I am very satisfied!

First frig delivered was slightly dented. Home Depot ordered another, left the dented one until the new one arrived just days later. Excellent product, excellent service.

Love this fridge! it is not too big, not too small, works great

We had a larger refrigerator before buying this one which was not practical for our needs. This smaller GE is perfect for a couple of two.

I like the icemaker feature and the option of switching the door handles.

Bought apprx 3 months ago and we have had no issues with it. We purchased with factory installed ice maker. That is working great, also!

Very noisy when running and seems to run most of the time. The veggie/fruit drawers in the bottom of fridge are very hard to open and close. Just slide extremly hard and must be muliplated to get them to go straight. Ice forms on the top and the freezer door and top of freezer compartment next to door,.

We have had for a couple of months. Was the only model in the color that my wife wanted that would in the space we had available. It is a little noisy but much quitter than the Fridge we replaced. My thinks that it does no cool evenly though out the interior space.

I BOUGH THIS REFRIGERATOR A COUPLE OF MONTH AGO. I HAVE NO PROBLEM W ITH THE APPEARANCE OR THE OPERATION BUT IT IS SO LOUD I DON'T THIS IT WILL LAST LONG. THE MOTOR SOUNDS LIKE IT IS GOING TO EXPLODE.

had a bit of tbl with ice maker but was taken care of right away very happy with all of now
