Pros>Easy to set up, install SW, Wireless. Installed it before my vacation and could connect from overseas and see what is going on in my family room, entry doors, windows, garage door. Tested it - was emailing me images at any motion in front of the camera, night infra red also working. Planning to install couple more and cover more areas. Cons>Had one question when setting up wireless and alarms to email, took me awhile to wait for the tech support, but the directions where good, and we get it going. Also it does not have a feature to follow the object, only records (take five shots) what is in front of the camera. But given the price it is still pretty good.

I was looking for a "pet cam" so that when we went away over the weekend I could keep an eye on my cat and make sure everything looked ok and that she had enough food. I was mainly looking for one that would allow me to view the feed over my smart phone. Over the Labor Day sale I saw this camera very reasonably priced (around 60 dollars) as well as color imaging, the ability to rotate the camera remotely, and night viewing. I wasn't expecting much but figured I would give it a shot since it had everything on my list. I will say that set-up even with the directions was difficult. But if you can get past the set-up (I had to google help from other users) the camera is excellent! The picture is clear, I haven't had any issues with the connection or the remote controls, and it is pretty easy to maneuver. I would definitely recommend!

Having these cameras in my living room give me the greatest peace of mind. I can check in on my dogs through out the day to make sure all is well. The color (as you can see in the attached picture) does vary by the amount of light in the room. I have the blinds closed and the tv on. That is the only light in the room. Very easy to set up. I am able to access the picture from work on a PC, from another room in the house or even on my smart phone. I can use a Windows, Android or Iphone to view the image. I also like the ability to change the view remotely.

Full of features and is easy to setup, I did a good choice.

I bought this one to try it in my basement. The pan/tilt works well as does the low light level IR feature. I would recommend this product. I bought on sale for $69 from Home Depot. The software/application works well, but there are other options available for free download. I have not figured out how to view when Im away from home yet.

I have the camera mounted to the all and I have it set with default points so I can look all around the room easily. You can monitor video and audio from any computer and most smart phones (Android / iPhone / iPad / ideapad A1 / Transformer Pad Infinity) personally confirmed. There are free apps (Pro version usually required for audio. Usually $1.99) that work great for monitoring even when you are not at home. A small amount of technical knowledge is helpful for monitoring outside the home (port forwarding and basic security). Night vision is great but there is an audible click when it engages/disengages. It has a speaker for two way audio built in. It isn't water proof so it should be for indoor use only. I own three of these (this was my third purchased) and I use one at home and one at the baby sitter's to monitor the cribs from anywhere. I've done a lot of research, you won't find a better camera for the price on the market today.

I had both my cams up and running within 30 mins. Took me some more time to understand all of its settings (am still playing around with it), but they were easy to setup and the s/w that comes with it is handy and easy to setup as well. I am now able to view them remotely, I need to get home and setup the 2nd camera to be viewable as a second device and I should be good. Need to get familiar with the way the sound/motion alarm works, to set them up correctly. My initial setup sent out a bunch of emails. Some learning to be done here. But so far ... it all works! I was surprised by the size of the camera, it is larger than I expected :( but is not a deal breaker. The retractable ethernet cable that came with it is of no use (to me at least), it can probably come handy as part of a travel kit! Otherwise the construction is good, its well finished and includes a mounting bracket & screws. I'd have preferred something more compact, but it is handy enough and also well finished, it should blend well with white walls. I currently have mine in test mode on table tops, Will need to get extension cables for the power supply unless you plan to install it near a power point or have one near :) before I can mount them where I intended Picture quality is not great but just good enough for my purpose. IR video is good too, clear with recognizable pics. Good buy! I definitely recommend if you want a low cost solution! Will provide an update if needed. Have included a snapshot of itself (reflection) in IR mode

I don't speak geek well and even I could hook it up to my wireless network and view it on my iPhone!

Easy set up and excellent Baby monitor. Supports sound and voice with Foscam pro $6 app with iPhone. Need static Ip or Dns service for web access. Camera needs FTP Server to upload images on motion . App suggests one for $10 a month. Nice cam, Great Picture, Night and Day and the app supports turning the leds on and off. Wish I would have bought 2 of them.

The camera can be managed, so far only from the same IP address as it has. Tried but still haven't figure out how to manage from remote.

Very good price for this wi fi camera. Implementing this camera is a technical challenge but Foscam provides free technical support but plan on being on hold at least 30 minutes before your call is answered.

Purchased this for my infant granddaughter. After researching Baby Monitors, we decided to buy this as it was half the cost of one that say "baby" on them! Great savings & excellent camera! Does a better job than most "baby monitors" & at a much better price!

I had my friend who does installation of this type of equipment for a living look at it and he couldn't make it work. After a few days of playing with it, we got it on the computer for one day only but never got it on my smart phone. I returned it.

Works just fine with iphone app as a baby monitor.

No execution file or install file on disc for easy install. Instructions are impossible to follow. Would not recommend for non-techie type. This will sit around and await one of my kids to do the install. Even when I went to you tube for help I was unsuccessful in getting the camera hooked up.

The wireless setup took some help but in the end it worked fantastic

Love this camera for the price, good features, decent pics but sound in a big room is bad. I use this to monitor my dogs. Took some time setting up and not for a beginner computer person. Love the fact that I can access camera with my phone or computer.

Good day and night vision reasonably quiet, good application selection and very good customer support

These cameras are plagued by constant rebooting. Internet search resulted in finding problem with units manufactured between 1/2013 and 8/2013. When they did work, without rebooting themselves, picture quality was fine and the pan/tilt was nice. Audio in and out was not clear.

While the camera works firne, it was very difficult to set it up so that one can control the camera over the internet. Controlling it over a local WiFi works fine and the sending an email when motion is detected works fine. It would also be nice if there was a battery powered option so you aren't restricted to locations where power is available. One star off because of difficulty to set up remote controls. One star off because requires nearby power outet.

We already had two of these when an email arrived announcing they were on sale. It was the lowest price we have ever seen and shipping to home was free, What's not to like? These cameras work great and the pan and tilt function is like having multiple fixed cameras. They even have two way voice. Very happy.

i have four setup as nanny cams and a baby monitor, i have them all wireless and am able to view them remotely using an app i bought for 3.99 ip cams - Note if you decide to allow remote access they arent secure which means people can login and view your cameras as you would, if this is a concern then buy another model that has https - great detail for the price, i am happy! side note - setting router and cameras for remote access took an hour - wireless setup is less than a minute

Product is good as described. The only problem is the connection is not that good when I put it as outdoor camera. Everything else is working absolutely fine.

This item is hard to control and you must have a updated computer and modem or it works awful. Apps are hard to load and use on mobile devices . Once you figure everything out the actual camera is not to bad .

Works absolutely fine without any issue. It came with software CD which is easy to setup and gives you a tutorial video explaining how to setup the foscam. Came with a power cord with a good length as expected. Keeps sending me email and also records the video on motion detection. I downloaded foscam apps for my android phone through which I can even control my cam directly from my cell phone. Mic could have been better as there is lot of echo sound. Night vision works great. I will recommend this product.

I have nine (9) of these cams and they work great - set up is easy and if there is a problem their 1-800 Technical support is great - You can not buy a cam with the features that Foscams have for this price anywhere also with the Home Depot discounted price they are a steal.....

This works great once you figure out the setup. If you are not computer literate I would suspect you would have a difficult time setting this up. It took me 30 minutes to set this up and I work in the computer industry.

This camera was easy to install and easy to monitor. I installed a free app onto my iphone and I can receive alerts telling me when there is movement on the camera. Excellent for kids coming home from school.

This product was purchased at home depot on line one day sales. I purchased it to see how well the product would perform and I have been very happy with the results. Ryan at their support center assisted me after I did the initial setup and he was great. I will purchase additional cameras in the future to place on my home because the added security that it gives me is wonderful. I recommend these cameras to anyone who wants the security on their home.
