I was leery about getting this paint but did anyway. I'm painting a wood cabinet to spruce it up a little and I was very happy with the quality and texture of this paint. It is not shiny and has a nice matte finish. It goes on smoothly and covers nicely. You can give a wash effect or solid.

This paint is very easy to use. I would describe this color as more of a khaki than oatmeal. It is subdued and has a slight greenish tint. It looks natural and would be pretty on a dresser , table or shelf. The paint dries quickly and can be rinsed off hands and brushes easily with water.

Folk Art Home decor Grotto Chalk Finish Paint is beautiful for crafts and home decorating. It has a soft, deep green fnish that complements my Folk Art Cascade Chalk Finish paint perfectly. I am useing them together for shading and achieving a natural appearance. There is no odor and these paints clean up easily with water. I am looking forward to useing them for some beautiful and fun projects.

Folk Art Home Decor Cascade Ultra-Matte Chalk Finish paint looks very smooth when applied. It has no odor, dries quickly, and is easy to clean up with water. The actual color is different than in the bright blue picture. It has a subdued blue/green color, like a classic patina. The desciption on the botltle says that it gives the look of a Parisian garage sale. It also seems close to a blue spruce color, which may be how it got its name. Since it has a chalk finish, it is very flat looking. It will be very pretty with a coat of finish, which will increase its durability as well. I will be useing it for many cute decor and craft projects.

This paint is womnderful for cabinets, woodwork and small projects. It has a smooth finished look and excellent coverage, even over contractor grade cabinetry and trims. There was virtually no odor and washes off the brush and hands with water. It is sleek and durable when dry. I am very happy to have tried this paint and will be using it for refinishing projects.
