This particular size air filter is difficult to find, but Home Depot had it on line with their convenient order process and now I'm "stocked up" for the next couple of years!

filters are a little larger than the frame on the heater unit but I am able to squeeze them in. Appreciate being able to buy them in bulk

I was looking for a filter that would work in my high performance system. Previously, I had tried using the pleated supposedly 90 day filters, but during AC season in Arizona, they needed to be replaced weekly or the system was straining as it tried to suck air. These filters do not have that problem. I should have stuck with the old-style filters to begin with. I only give this four stars, because I'm not entirely sure I got what I ordered. The photo I ordered from shows a blue fllter and a description of "EZ Flow Heavy Duty Air Filter." The filters I received were white and nowhere on them does this description show. They are merely labeled as Flanders PrecisionAire.

My HVAC tech said to use EZ flow filters because it puts less strain on the system. Home Depot was the only store that could get them for me

This is a very good home AC filter, and I will use them from now on.

The first order was damaged in shipment. The second order was damaged in shipment. Because I was then rushed for time, I took possession of the damaged (but serviceable) goods. Then I find out that they are cut about 1" too large! The manufacturer should consider their packaging and construction quality.

Because I have an older air conditioner it was impossible to find the size filter needed. It was great that they have a company that makes filters to the size I need at a reasonable price.

Only place I can find these HD filters by the case. They work best in systems that have a strong air flow.

Over the years I've come to loth the pleated filters. Why, problems with them clogging too quickly, and the system picking up the filter/dropping after cycle makes loud noises, air by passes making whistle noises. More problems they end up so clogged the pleated filter bows and when removed the a/c system sounds like it is relieved and can breathe freely again. When I can find the old-style floss filters I buy them, but all to often no stores carry them in-stock. I purchased these floss-filters online and they look great, metal on both sides, very good construction, great fit (snug which mitigates bypass), and my system can breathe freely while at the same time capture larger dust particles. These filters are white flossed and not as dense as pictured and as other reviewers noted. These are priced right, I just can't spend $20-$40 for a single 3M filter, I did it once and gained no benefit differences other than price.

Excellent deal, highly recommended! Hard to find, but Home Depot came through. Much better for air system than pleated filters!

Home Depot was able to get this "hard to find" filter at a very reasonable price. They are very good quality

Framing around filter is thick paper rather than cardboard and is quite flimsy.

Although it took a couple weeks for these filters to arrive, they were of a much better quality than I had expected them to be! For the price you really can't beat this deal, (about $36.00 for 12) however having said that, I could NOT find them anywhere and HAD to order them online by the case.

This one restricts the airflow causing more electricity been used,i would had like the 30 day one and replace it every month,but home depot don't carry it , not in the stores and now not even online..

Always keep it simple. Don't pay all the extra money for some fancy brand name when you can get a cheap one that does the same exact thing.

I haven't had the filters installed very long but they are pretty well made. They have metal support on both sides of the filter material and the filter material looks like its well made also

I was surprised when I received it to find out how poorly constructed it is. They used soft cardboard for a frame, received unglued in some places, and box and filters were slightly crushed on one side. The only good thing about is the metal grill on both side. Talking about that it has sharp edges, I cut myself with one as I tried to pull it out of the case. If it not were that I need this filter size and that it is not available in the stores, I would not order them again. I will have to see the results, but based on the quality (by the appearance) I can not recommend it. The more serious of a problem is the fact that though it says 22x24x1 on the filters itself, the actual size is 1/2 inch shorter. No Good !

After purchasing expensive filters for many years, I determined standard filters, changed every 3 months provide better airflow unless you have allergies.

The package arrive damage with several filters that needed to be straiten out to be usable. The filters are not what I consider heavy duty.

These are very basic air filters, which is exactly what I wanted. However, I am VERY disappointed in the craftsmanship. 8 of the 12 filters did NOT have the cardboard frames GLUED together. I dont know if they were glued and came apart when packaged OR perhaps they were never glued together. If Home Depot had a Quality Control Team overseeing these filters, they failed miserably.

This is really the best way to buy furnace filters, especially for an unusual size. I found the filter I wanted online, and ordered a box of a dozen. When they arrived at the store , I went and picked them up. Nice filters, a nice supply. Very glad I did it.. And, a nice price, too.

This filter is much cheaper than the Filtrete brand. Our air conditioning service this type wouldn't make our unit work as hard. I do wish these were in the store...never have the size we need. I ordered two boxes so I want need any for awhile. I was pleased at how easy it was to order at the store, clerk was very helpful.

Perfect fit but had to special order , wish they were sold in the store but now I have enough for a few years

Best friend A/C tech said use these as cheap and higher filtration means a/c furnace works too hard to pull air. If pets change 2x month if needed but will save from a/c not working to pull air and he said he seen Filter walls caved as a/c pulled in dry wall as filter too thick.

I order once a year so I have my 12 ready to be changed once a month. You don't need those new thick filters as they pull to much on your air unit and puts to much wear and tear and $$ on it. These are affordable and easy to order.

THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT THE 18X18X1 ARE NOT AVAILIABLE IN STORES, YOU HAVE TO ORDER THEM

I have used these filters when handled thru your store...Now I am excited that they are on your web site...They are easy to put in and out and they do an excellent job of riding dust. I had a problem with the color of the filter which used to be blue...I am now told by the co that they changed venders so now they will all be white...I am a happy camper to get them at a great price... VA
