I am a senior citizen and this larger door viewer works very well for me. It provides a wide viewing area and makes me feel safer in my home. It's easy to install -- as long as you have a large enough drill bit. My son did not have a 1-1/8 inch bit and ended up having to enlarge the hole by grinding away at it with a Dremel tool.

This viewer gives a surprisingly wide and clear view. It is a perfect fit for the door we had problems finding a viewer for. Only problem is that it gets misty after a heavy downpour, however this may due to faulty installation on our part.

Easy to install. Just take the time to determine the proper placement for optimal viewing. Large drill bit required (1 1/8).

The field of vision was better than expected and the view is bright and clear. I just happened to have the right-size of hole saw (not drill bit).

It was very easy to install, all you need is the appropriate hole saw 1-1/8" for either wood or metal exterior doors. I installed mine in less than 5 minutes. Just remember that the height of the viewer needs to accommodate the heights of others in your home. You don't want people standing on a box because of poor viewer placement. C

HOWEVER WAY TO BIG THE SIZE IS HUGE AND THE WIDTH STATED IS INCORRECT.

I am delighted with this viewer! We replaced a smaller one which was rather useless unless visitor was standing half way down the walkway. Simply removed the old one, drilled a larger hole and screwed it in. Gives me a large area of vision and increases security.

We like the field of view as you can see very well who is at your door. The field of view gets blurred after about 30 feet, but you still can see images fairly well.

The product was well constructed of quality material. The brassy look makes it look snappy and adds to the look of the front door. installation was easy with the proper bit and battery powered drill. My tenant is very comfortable now with people coming to her front door, no more surprises. This product is one of the best on the market as the view is large and clear not like looking through a pea hole.

It is sooo nice and the viewer is so large that you don't need to get so close to make up whom is behind the door. Excellent product !

This went dar beyond my expectations. Quality product. Easy installation and the view is 180 degrees plus. Yes the peep hole is larger than normal but you cannot see in from the outside at all. Highly recommend.

Great Jumbo Door Viewer. Very fair price and excellent quality.

This was a gift for my mom. She loves being able to "pre-screen" people at her door. The large size and expanded view are a real plus for an elderly person.

Easy to install, I love the clear and large view. The only drawback (minor) is that from the inside it is quite noticeable - like a hole in the door because the viewer is so big. However I think it's a small price to pay for getting a good view out the door. Also, even though it's big you can NOT see in from the outside.
