For that price these are excellent. I don't let the nectar freeze. The plastic would not do well freezing.

This feeder is sleek and good looking and very easy to use. I like the simple look and clean lines. I find plastic feeders easier to use than glass as well. I purchased a few of these and then went back for a couple more. I highly recommend.

he an old model of this that lasted 8 years. the new design with the slanted indent causes stress cracks in the corners near the base.

I have tried a lot of different feeders. This one is easy to clean and fill. The larger size last longer. During the winter (now) I'm feeding 20 to 30 Anna's Hummingbirds. Some times both feeders are full of birds and more birds are trying to get to the feeder holes. I refill both feeders once or twice a day.

Durable, long lasting. replaced two we purchased several years ago that were weathered.

Excellent!! So easy to clean. The bottom of the feeder twists off for easy cleaning. I love it as much as the hummingbirds do!

I prefer the feeders that load from the top because they are less mess. Unfortunately the yellow flowers on them attract bees and wasps that were getting all the nectar and keeping the hummingbirds at bay. These feeders have red flower spouts which apparently are less attractive to the insects. Now I've had more hummingbirds and fewer wasps feeding. The bees are back to pollinating my plants instead of filling up at the feeder. I have noticed no shortage of bees or wasps elsewhere in our gardens.

We have tried dozens of different styles and shapes of hummingbird feeders made of different materials. Without fail, birds flock to this particular one and ignore the others. Not the most expensive, nor the prettiest, but definitely the one birds prefer.

We purchased four of these and we're looking for a humming bird feeder that did not leak. Well to my amazement these are working fantastic, and the birds love them also. This is as advertised as does not leak.

Very easy to assemble. Put in front of living room window outside & I sit in my recliner & spend lots of time watching hummingbirds. Very entertaining.

As noted on a similar feeder, we have not had a chance to use the hummingbird feeder after getting it because of our birds apparently leaving for Winter coming, hence the rating of only 4 stars.

The hummingbirds love it, easy to fill, clean and store. I want to buy parts to keep using it.

I have been feeding the hummers for years. Last year, I bought two of these feeders mainly because of the price. But, I found out they are the easiest feeder to keep clean which is really important when feeding hummers. They will not feed out of a dirty, contaminated feeder. They are also a large container. The opening of the water container is big so you can get a bottle brush inside easily. The little petals, where the birds feed, have not snap off blooms which bacteria can get under like other feeders. I just rinse with warm water and brush the inside and outside and refill. I highly recommend this feeder. I now own 5 of them and use two to swap out when empty...

We've been through many feeders throughout the years, and the time when they usually get damaged is during cleaning and refilling. The reservoirs are either glass or plastic, this one is plastic and a very thin plastic, so thin that as you unscrew it from the base it starts to twist, like a 16oz water bottle, and we have to be very careful that we don't crack it, I can see where this will be an issue once it becomes brittle after a 95-100 degree summer here in the south, also it's very difficult to clean underneath the square red reinforcement piece, glued to the top of the reservoir. Other than that, it's a very good size, usually lasts about two weeks between refills, we have at least two feeders out at a time, otherwise they literally chase their neighbors away, and if there's plenty available, they'll relax and share, 3 or 4 on the feeder maybe a couple on final approach. They're really fascinating birds, and we enjoy watching them, with the feeders just 8 to 10 feet away, be still and enjoy the show. (Note) Boiling or microwaving the water first avoids algae growth, and a mixture NOT weaker than 6 water to 1 sugar will suffice, also if you're trying to attract, you can add food coloring, yellow, green or red work best, best of luck!

These are the best feeders ever. The hummingbirds love them and with the big opening it makes them so easy to clean and fill. I highly recommend.

Very good feeder. I'd bought a cheaper one & it leaked out the bottom. This one doesn't leak & the hummingbirds flock to it. In fact, they sometimes fight over it.

These feeders from First Nature are made of sturdy plastic and are easy to used. Hang them out of the sunshine to avoid ants.

I have had as many as 18 feeders out at one time this summer. The hummers were fabulous! I was looking into finding some more feeders at end of season, but there were none so I tried online. I had to try a store farther away, and buy enough to have them delivered, but now I am set for years to come. Easy to clean, holds a quart, lasts only a day or two before refilling, we just love it!

For only $5 it works just fine. Easy to take apart to clean and is the perfect size for the powered packets of nectar that makes two quarts.

While the plastic can fade in the hot desert sun, these are the best feeders (and least expensive) I have found. The top opens with a wide opening for easy filling, and the bottom comes completely apart for easy cleaning, which is very important to ensure that no algae forms inside the feeder. I have 8 of these feeders up at a time, with as many as 50 hummers feeding at a time, and I highly recommend these feeders.

I love these feeders. They are easy to fill & last a longer time. They have a place for the birds to rest on as well.

After several years of feeding hummingbirds, I have found that these First Nature feeders are the most durable and easy-to-clean. Also important to me is that there is a rail for the hummers to perch on. Best value for the money.

I put out six feeders all year around and the hummers still come. In April, the Orioles and Woodpeckers come and use them also. I gave one to my mother and sister and they are fans of these feeders also. They are very easy to clean.
