Easily installed

It is not a great big eye sore so I am happy.

When I tried to open the door to add batteries the clasp the keeps the door closed broke off. I was able to Velcro’s the door closed. I am not pleased with the plastic catch used.

I have had the CO detector only a month. Product is good quality and easy to install. FYI - the display "goes to sleep" until you press the button or there is an alarm - so unit kind of looks like it is not functioning after it was installed. Would have preferred to see display all the time, but maybe this preserves the battery?

I wanted a battery/plug in carbon monoxide detector. This met my needs.

GOOD FOR THE PRICE SEEMS LIKE IT WORKS.

CO detector easy to install and read. I would like a numeral read-out instead of bars showing PPM. Cost affordable and First Alert appears to have made a good quality unit.

Good unit, but the door assembly breaks easily when installing batteries.

FIRST ALERT PROUDUCTS HAVE ALWAYS PROVED TO WORK WELL. THE PRICE I PAID WAS VERY GOOD SINCE IT HAD THE DIGITAL DISPLAY OPTION. THE NON DIGITAL MODEL WAS THE SAME PRICE AND I WOULD NOT HAVE HAD A WAY TO SEE ANY INFO COMING FROM IT. I MADE A GOOD CHOICE TO PURCHASE THIS MODEL.

Exact replacement for what our kitchen remodelers installed 6.5 years ago--they're only expected to last 5 years, so we got an extra year and a half out of it.

A great replacement for the older units in my home. The readout is fabulous for checking trends with real numbers. I was able to easily replace units without any wall modifications. works fine!

The batteries enclosed with this alarm didn't work.

Nice upgrade to the prior model which had reached end of life. I especially like the battery status indicator. Now I can take care of the batteries before the unit starts beeping in the middle of the night. Why don't these devices ever beep during the day? I also appreciate that the mounting holes on the new unit exactly match the old. Just lift off the old alarm and pop on the new.

This was a replacement for an identical unit had reached the end of its life. When the new unit arrived and was unpacked, I was surprised and pleased to see the warranty on the new unit had been expanded from 5 years (on the expired unit) to 7 years on the new unit.

Easy Install, Good price. Hope it works if it has to.
