LED lite was easy to install. I like the ability to adjust the brightness of the bulbs using the slide switch..

I marked this down because of the requirement to install the tubes only one way as opposed to regular flourescent tubes which do not have a hot end and a neutral end. There was a fair bit of rewiring required which necessitated buying additional wire but the resulting light is far superior to what we had before.

Product worked well. Instructions could be better. There is a video if you use the QR code on the instruction page which is much better. Simple: all wires on one end of fixture to hot, all wires from other end of fixture to neutral. This bulb requires ballast removal which I think is the way to go. It doesn't make sense to get a bulb that keeps the ballast and then worry about the ballast going bad. The kit doesn't come with wire nuts so pick some up if you don't have them. One bulb was defective but Home Depot took care of replacement.

Too many brightness options with the 3 option switch that weren’t exactly what we wanted. Returned them immediately.

Love these bulbs. They can be used in many different situations because you can choose between 3k, 4k, 5k, and 6.5k color depending on where you are installing them. There are clear instructions for removing the ballast as well as a link to a video to show you how to remove the ballast. You do need to be at least familiar with some basic electrical knowledge to remove the ballast. If not, work with an electrician or someone who has the knowledge.

So much nicer than the old fluorescent bulbs. Turns on instantly, zero flicker, and very bright. Install took about 20 minutes to rewire the fixture, but I could do another one in half that time.

Really like these Feit LED bulbs, they have 4 settings on the bulbs, easy to install. I wanted to eliminate the ballast, but wanted to keep existing light fixtures. The Type B bulbs do both. If you are capable of doing basic electrical work, can read directions, then these bulbs are the best choice. The bulbs are a lot cheaper than replacing the ballast and they don’t produce much heat. Very pleased with this product. Currently replacing faulty fluorescent fixtures in church building with these bulbs, highly recommend this product

I installed the lights a few days ago and they are working well so far. I like that it comes on bright without needing to warm up. The switch for changing color temperature (4 choices) is nice since I can mix colors or just try out different colors. I settled on 4000 for the garage. I am a maintenance guy, so I removed the ballast from the fixture myself and wired the fixture directly to line power. Fluorescent fixtures typically have a red wire going to one side, and two blue wires to the other side. I put red with Line power (Black) and blue with Neutral (white) using 5-position Wago connectors. I used 5-position connectors because line power for my fixture has two white and two black because it is a daisy chain to the other fixtures in the garage. The light tubes are marked with an L on one end and N on the other, for Line and Neutral, so they do have a polarity.

While it shows you can have 6500K “Daylight Deluxe”, it’s still only 1800 lumens. If you’re looking for more brightness in an area, get at least 3500 lumens.

Love this LED replacement for fluoresent tube fixtures. Gets rid of the troublesome ballast, a simple rewire allows you to use the same fixture and convert to LED. Best of all, you get to select the value of light your getting by using the simple switch on each tube. This has to be the perfect improvement item! And it's even cheaper than buying old-style replacement tubes.

this set worked fine the one i purchased befor one of the bulds light selector only functioned on the lowest setting. but thsi sryt worked fine
