Looks great! Very durable. We used this as an background accent to a track lighting fixture. My house has the oil rubbed bronze accents for light fixtures and other hardware. I wanted to match these accents and this really did the job. I will be purchasing this in the future to update the kitchen back splash and possibly for other accents.

Kitchen looks great! It literally took 2 years to decide on what I want for a backsplash. So glad I went with this. Different from everyone else’s tile. We read reviews and suggestions. Took our time and cut each piece before starting. HD didn’t have all the J pieces so we don’t have a finished edge at the bottom. Undecided if it bothers us. We may rig something or just leave it alone. Over all not difficult at all. Took only a couple hours.

      Farmhouse Kitchen on a Budget
An affordable way to update the kitchen. We glued ours right over the old ugly tile, with supplies we were able to do the whole back splash for about $150. Very happy with the end product. We chose the matte white finish w/ slate GE appliances. We also painted the cabinets in Behr's NYPD. Butcher block counters from Ikea, believe it or not.

      LOVE this stuff!!
We bought this stuff to put in our kids' playhouse. It looks really cool in there with the blue/grey accents and under mount lighting. Looks like a million bucks. It wipes off easily and was easy for my husband to install. He applied the border edges as well and that really added the finishing touch. He applied it very "permanently" with glue (although you can use other ways to adhere it). It won't be coming off anytime soon! We purchased it in store, but noticed they have so much more to choose from on line as well. We bought the smoked pewter and it ended up being the perfect color to accent everything else in there. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a great look for a fraction of the cost for a backsplash, accent or even ceiling.

Great Look, Low Cost and Durable!
Used the white, matte finish for my kitchen back splash. Good option for a few years til we can do a solid counter top and better back splash. Easy to install with locktite adhesive, used exacto knife for corners, heavy scissors for long cuts. Used the optional end pieces and inside corner. Tip- glue those ends on before you add to wall. Caulking finished up nicely, and if you very lightly caulk the seams it makes them disappear more. Very happy and bright! Love the matte look, and sponges off nicely!!!

WOW how this lights up my kitchen
I was remodeling my kitchen and had installed cabinets and sink fixtures along with lighting that I had purchased a Home Depot. It all looked wonderful and made for a great looking kitchen, but something was missing. I wanted that extra flare that makes a room pop. That is when I saw an ad for the decorative backslash. I decided to check it out. The staff were very informative and help a great deal in deciding what to order. It was ordered and in the store in a flash, I read the instructions and proceeded to install the panels. I could not believe how easy it was, I finished the installation in 1 day. As you can see by the pictures it made for a wonderful eye catching center to my kitchen. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the product the ease of application and the appeal and eye catching appearance it made in my kitchen.

      Easy to use
I used these to decorate my faux fireplace's surround. I used a box cutter and it was fairly easy to cut the backsplash tiles.

      Great Idea!
I was tired of trying to wipe or scrub splatter of my walls and had been wanting a back splash in my kitchen for a long time. My brother-in-law put this up in their kitchen when they did a remodel and I liked it a lot. I decided to check into it. The panels are made of plastic although they look metallic. You have to touch it to believe it is not. Each panel is sold separately, which really adds up if you have a lot of wall space to cover. I decided to go for it anyway. I chose the design I wanted and bought the sliders for the corner and ends. I cut out all the holes for the outlet covers, switch plates, etc. . . by making a template out of paper and drawing it onto the back of the panel with a marker. I used some good, solid kitchen shears to do the cutting. I would NOT recommend using an exacto knife; it has the tendency to slip, or cut too far. I used masking taped to put up the panels where I wanted them to go after I had the openings cut out to make sure everything fit properly. My teenage sons actually installed them for me using the caulk. I turned out wonderful! Not only can I wipe the back splash down for easy clean up, it looks fantastic. It is exactly what I wanted.

      Beautiful back splash
I did a lot of research and wanted a back splash for my kitchen that was easy to clean, ease of installation and good value. I LOVE this product. I have never done this sort of installation before, and I was able to install all the back splash in one day for an area that was 26 feet linear feet with a lot of outlets. I read the tips that other people had posted and loved the suggestion of using poster board as a template. That saved me so much time and made the installation so much easier. The only suggestion I would make would be to use a wood chisel when cutting the outlet holes. I found scissors extremely difficult to use, but the wood chisel (with a lot of cardboard between the backspash and my cutting board) cut the outlet holes easily and they were even and made the corners really square. I have recommended this product to several people and received a lot of compliments. Absolutely love it.

      Great look and easy instalation!
This back-splash was very easy to install. Just marked it, cut it with scissors, and used the tape to adhere it. A little pricey if you have a large area but great stuff.

      Great alternative backsplash
I used this Fasade for a backsplash instead of tiling or some other material. It was used for a wetbar and looks great. The installation of the panels was easy but the trim took some time to get the angles correctly. I would suggest using the trim with the panels, it looks a lot more professional.

Large Reward for a small amount of work and cost.
This makes a big change in the look of your kitchen. I refinished cabinets , hardware was replaced along with counter tops , sink and paint. I guess a complete make over but this item was a great finishing touch to bring everything together. After Mom seeing my new back splash area I am now going to have to put up in her kitchen.

      Easy project
This easy project put the wow into the kitchen for only about $250.00. Cuts easily with tin snips, used the finish pieces for cut edges in the corners. Used the contact paper to cover switch plates and it looks awesome. Used the glue, have never trusted double sided tape.

      I love my back splash!
Very easy to install with great results. My husband and I were having a difficult time deciding on a back splash. We had looked at many different tiles and none of them seemed to be the right thing for pulling our kitchen together. We then discovered "facade" at home depot and we were sold. We purchased the cracked copper and are very happy with the end result. It adds a very warm feeling to our kitchen. We are going to purchase the matching ceiling panels to install over the island area of the kitchen. I have recommended this product to friends of ours who are looking to do or update a back splash area.

      A few challenges, but beautiful.
I used these as a border in my bathroom, and they were relatively easy to put up. If you don't live 5 minutes away from a Home Depot that has all the accessories in stock, go ahead and order everything you might need, then return what you don't. I made 4 trips in 12 hours - to pick up the tiles & tape, to get adhesive because the tape didn't work, to get j-trim pieces because the panels weren't quite as easy to cut as I hoped and I had to disguise some ragged edges, and to get corner trim pieces because I realized that would finish out the look. I had a party a couple of weeks after completing the project and got lots of compliments. [I don't know why the photo is uploading sideways - sorry!]

Came out great as my backsplash
I was a little hesitant since this isn't the traditional tile backsplash. However, the product is installing well for me. I have completed half of my kitchen so far (see attached pictures). It feels quality and while fitting into place was a little difficult, it overall has been moving quickly with the install. It also fits in beautifully with my vision for my ktichent.I would recommend this to my friends.

Cost effective and easy to install.
My wife and I bought this style/color backsplash as opposed to traditional tile/mosaic tile for a few reasons. We are not contractors nor have we ever installed tile backsplashes before. Also, the cost associated with tile backsplashes were approaching being cost prohibitive at the time we were ready to purchase the materials for a backsplash. These tin looking, plastic backsplashes were more wallet friendly and more geared towards inexperienced DIYers like us. I made the cuts ahead of time, dry fitting them as I went along. Once I had all the cuts made I cut the J-Trim, (Internet # 100521680/Store SKU # 877498), the corner piece (Internet # 100521686 Store SKU # 877828) and did a secondary dry fit, trimming both the tiles and J-Trim to fit. Once I double & triple checked the cuts, I clued the trim pieces to a single tile of that piece’s one or two tiles that it would go on, and let sit for the 24 hours suggested on the adhesive. The next day I simply followed the directions on the back of the tiles, had our kitchen backsplash installed on the walls in under an hour. For me the time was consumed in making all the cuts, not in the actual installation. *Note: I used a regular, SHARP pair of scissors to cut the tile and J-Trim, and a rotary tool for the corner piece. Being as these are thermal plastic and NOT actual metal, the tin snips suggested on the instructions are not necessary. Also I used the suggested adhesive (Store SKU # 908537) instead of the suggested double sided tape(Internet # 100521672 Store SKU # 877432). The tape might have been quicker, but the adhesive was forgiving in that once I placed the tile on the wall, I was able to maneuver it into a level position with the piece beside it. I personally prefer the idea of the adhesive vs. the double sided tape. All in all, I am glad that we chose this product over the “real” tile for our backsplash. It saved us money in supplies and tools; as well as time in regard of the installation.

Totally made the final touch on my DIY kitchen remodel!!
Easy to install, and looks great. I used double sided tape and it has been 2 years now and no problems. It was a last minute decision to add backslash after I repainted my kitchen cabinets. It made all the difference in the world in the final overall look. Have received MANY compliments!!

This product changed the entire look of my kitchen!
After discussing a reasonably inexpensive way to modernize the outdated backsplash tiles in our kitchen, my husband and I decided upon installing the "oil-rubbed bronze" look tin tile sheets. The transformation was dramatic! Everyone whom has visited our home was immediately impressed and inquiring about that product for their own use in their home. This product was very easy to install and very user-friendly to customize. Again, the transformation is absolutely amazing! We had tried some average household kitchen sanitizing degreasing sprays that anyone would have in their kitchen cleaning products on the tiles before we installed them. They work great. Give a spritz of some windex for extra shine and this product is way easier to clean than the tiles we had originally! We just applied it overtop of the original tile surface and it was easy to apply. We are very pleased and impressed with this easy to install, inexpensive way to dramatically update the look of your kitchen! Thank you Home Depot!

Easy & inexpensive way to refresh an ugly backsplash
I have used these panels at 2 homes now in the kitchen as an easy and inexpensive way to refresh the backsplash. The new house needs a new kitchen but that's a few years away and I needed to cover up the current ugly tile backsplash right away. With a few hours, no demo of the tile underneath and basic tools (scissors, measuring tape & caulk gun) my old backsplash was transformed! It's important to plan the area before you start cutting & also realize that the underside of the cabinets probably aren't square/even so a cardboard template can be helpful. Since I've used both now, I think that using the loctite adhesive to stick the tiles to the wall gives you a nicer final look than the double sided tape.
