Great value for a quality set

I have a second home and in researching cookware sets was delighted to find the "Silver Classic" cookware from Farberware. For the last 24 years I have enjoyed using the same set, and was delighted to find it still for sale by Farberware. My 24 year old set is not quite as shiny as the new one, but looks darn good, and continues to serve me well. The new 15 piece has every piece I will need, with the exception of a vegetable steamer, which I will look for. I googled the silver classic, which was available through different retail stores, but the price at Home Depot was the best, and it was shipped to my home quickly. I am very happy with Farberware and Home Depot.

I purchased the classic set as a house warming gift. We’ve had our classic set for 42 years and still love it. The new set is the same quality stainless steel and weight. The couple loves the set!

My Farberware cookware is 54+ Years old and it is time to get some new Farberware. Handles would come loose sometimes and I would use a skrewdriver to tighten Them. Farberware is a great shower gift as that is how I got mine and I do remember the people who gave it to me,

Back in 1968, I bought a set of 3-ply cookware made. (Could it have been Townecraft? Hmm)There were 3sizes of pans w lids, a Dutch oven, and a large frying pan w a lid that fit both of the last two. Maybe there were more pieces, but I can’t remember. I have made thousand of meals in them. Some were great, some were not. No fault of the cookware, but of the cook. The pans have been scrubbed and scoured, and I used my electric mixer in them all the time. So they don’t look brand new. But they still look decent and are still v workable. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another set.

When I initially opened the package the first thing I saw were 2 fry pans. They were both aluminum and I had some disappointment, as I had expected them to be stainless steel. As I continued I saw the balance of the pans to be stainless steel. I had also expected the lids to be glass. Aside from the two discrepancies in the lids and the fry pans, I found the rest of the package to be acceptable. I'm sorry, but I will not recommend this product to others. Thank you very much for your prompt delivery. I can always count on Home Depot thanks again. A loyal customer.

My mother bought this similar series as a bridal shower gift for me 37 years ago! (Farberware was the make of her pots and pans). What a great solid brand, my set still looks and cooks like new after 37 years (I can’t believe I have been married that long)!

This Farberware classic Series 17 piece stainless cookware set is exactly what I wanted. I have 1saucepan left since my Bridal Shower. It was in 1973. I enjoy the set and it cooks great. The one thing that I liked this set is that it comes with lids, and a cookie sheet. I would recommend this product. It brings back so many memories. It also meets my expectations too. Thank you for a wonderful set.

Replacing my 24 year old set. Love Farberware.

I got basically the same set back in 1983 and they were starting to show there age. Was always happy with them so decided to go with these. They seem to be made well and I expect to get many years of service out of them, and they're shiny!!

Picture shows steel lids. Details say "Close fitting glass lids create a self-basting feature that traps in moisture and nutrients." Reviewer says "really like glass lids." Q&A answer says lids are steel. How can I believe any of these?

Great pot and pan set . Set arrived quickly during the Christmas season. Like the all metal lids for the pans.

Had these pans before, and used them for many years. Switched to a different kind, used those. These pans met all my cooking needs, liked them so much I purchased a new set.

They are what they said they would be. We've used most of them & don't see any problems at all. They are a good weight. We would recommend them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this 15 piece cookware set for sampling purposes and I love it! Each pot comes with its own cover and the pans are non stick. They cook so evenly and are very easy to use and wash too. I really enjoyed making so many different dishes with this set. You can really cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner and not need any other pots and pans. My favorite feature is the fact that the covers fit the pans too! Compared to other pots and pans I have used, this is by far my favorite brand. They are just wonderful to cook with. I would definitely buy this cookware set. I was aware of the Farberware brand, but I never had a product before. I would 100% recommend this set and brand to everyone looking for new pots and pans. And I loved the accessories. Just take a look at the pictures of all the dishes I made using my new set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Faberware 4qt covered saucepan to make homemade mashed potatoes, the 10" nonstick skillet to make meatballs and gravy and the8" nonstick skillet to make vegetables with a little butter..I'm very impressed because my gravy or meatballs stuck to the skillet and the mashed potatoes were perfect. Even the vegetables were good and it was so easy cleaning the cookware. I recommend you to go out and get you a Faberware Cookset and trust me you won't be disappointed

I also appreciate that these pots seem to be taller than average and you get a wide variety of sizes for all your cooking needs. The bell-shaped lids help to retain heat and moisture and seal perfectly, and you get a lid for each pot in the set! These are not thin pots that will wear out quickly, that you will be getting a good quality, durable set! The 2 non-stick skillets also have great depth so you can cook a wide variety of foods with them. The handles are comfortable and fit very nicely in your hand, they are well made. I am very impressed with this lovely set of pots and recommend them!

I am coming from a stainless steel set of another brand and I could tell right away that the Farberware is a big upgrade. The pots have nice heavy thick bottoms that heat evenly and quickly, and I am also very happy that each pot has a lid. My other set only had lids for maybe half of the pots. The only thing that I do prefer from my previous set is that it had glass lids so you could easily monitor your food without having to lift the lid. That's just a minor thing though. Overall, I feel like this set of Farberware is very durable and will hold up well for a very long time. The quality is top notch, and the variety of pots and pans in the set is perfect for most kitchens. I would recommend this set to anyone, from those just starting out to more seasoned cooks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Farberware products in the past and typically enjoyed them. The 15 piece set has everything you need to set up your kitchen and has a bonus 3 piece serving set with 2 spoons, 1 slotted and a spatula. The set has 2 nice frying pans, 4 sauce pans with lids which range from 1 quart to 4 quarts , and an 8 quart stockpot! The frying pans are pretty sturdy and work nicely on our gas stove. They were even and sat firmly on the burner. The pans are not my favorite. While they work just fine, they are thin and not heavy duty. If you dont cook a lot and just make the basics they are great. I just spend a ton of time in the kitchen so these would not have a long life in my kitchen. I like that the handles are plastic so they dont burn your hand when lifting them, but the plastic is low quality and they just feel cheap. This is not a bad set of pots and pans. It is very pretty and I would recommend it for anyone starting out or for the household that doesnt do a lot of intense everyday cooking. It didnt work for me but it will be great for a new graduate, newlyweds or setting up your first kitchen.
