I bought this from HD last fall during my first semester of welding school. I took it to class and had the instructor - a veteran of 32 years as a union welder - work with it. He found that it burned hot and the 125 amps of the school Miller translated to 74 using Millinium rods. He was very impressed with its performance and has since then been telling other students how well it welds. I have had no problems with stinger or ground clamp at home where I use a piece of 1/4” plate with mill scale still attached for a welding table.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He ended up changing his mind on type of welder he wants so we ended up returning the Everlast PowerArc. Return process was very easy.

Machine works great. Only improvement I would have liked would have been better and longer leads, though they are adequate. At the price point the machine is at the leads are what I expected.

I would recommend to anyone looking for shop stick machine.
This little stick welder is portable and provides a strong arc.
Tested with 6013 and 7018 electrodes and both burn great.
Ground Clamp and Electrode holder are solid and attached to sturdy 10ga cables.

Satisfied Everlast owner
I've had the Power Arc 200ST Stick Tig for four months now. Have run 25 pounds of welding rod from 1/16" 7014 DCEN on exhaust pipe to 1/8" 6010 and 7018 on 1/2 inch plate steel With excellent results. It has more than enough power for my purposes. art, tool making, structural fabrication and automotive. I haven't used it much at all on 110 V but versatility was a deciding factor in choosing this unit along with its five year warranty. I had a couple of questions, which were quickly answered by Jean and Mike from Everlast customer service.

So far I've only used it for a cellulose flux rod (6011) but it laid down a smooth clean bead, far better than my old transformer machine. So far I'm very pleased with it.

This machine is much better than the one it replaced, an older buzz box. It was simple to set up. It is small, light and quiet. It burns through 6011 and 7018 rods as if they're butter. It is a pleasure to use. After approximately one hour total time using it I'm sorry that I didn't buy it sooner. A super value for the price. Even though the warranty can be a slight hassle to use I still feel good about having a FIVE year warranty. I was apprehensive about buying a Chinese made product but this machine appears to be of high quality and good workmanship. I'd certainly look into another Everlast product if I need another machine.

This is a nice machine. It starts easily and has a stable arc. The leads are really soft and are easy to work with. I havent had any problems of running into the duty cycle. Shipping was faster than was advertised.

Do not buy a n neverlast
Everlast is company that has worst customer service I have ever delt with I had my machine for 6 months aND it quit, yes they are under warranty but if you read the fine print you have to pay 100 dollars to ship it each way not only that but they have been stringing me along for almost 6 months! Telling me next week, next week, next week it's 6 months later, won't respond to emails....DO NOT GET CROWD! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Love it!
Great little setup. Have paired it up with my 4000 watt generator and it work awesome as a portable unit. Have a similar Miller unit at work and the Everlast beats it hands down.

Powerarc 200ST welder
Got this small welder just to have in the garage. There is always some small job to be done. This is one of the best welders I have ever used, and it runs on 120 volts. It really burns rod smoothly and is easy to strike. I love it!

Great stick welder!!
I've had my Everlast 200st now for a couple months. First off I have only used it on 110 current on a 20 amp breaker. Welding anywhere from 40 to 70 amps with 3/32" 6011, 7014, 6013, and 7018 rods. This machine flat out burns rods really, really well. Very easy unit to run and dual voltage capability is great for those who are limited to 110 current. This machine easily welds railroad spikes and horseshoes, even on 110 current. A lot more juice than my 140 mig.
Love my Everlast!! Price is right for what you get and what this DC welder is capable of. i gave the machine 4 stars only because I would have liked to have seen 15' leads and an easier way to swap out the stinger (my unit has a screw holding it that says it can't be unscrewed) if/when it wears out. Other than that my shopping experience with Home Depot was super smooth. Unit shipped directly from manufacturer to my door in a week.

Good stick machine.
This machine is a good stick welder. I have been using it for 2 weeks. Current meter seems to read 5 or 10 amps high but could just be me. I have also used it for TIG welding. I just hooked up a torch with a gas valve. The lift start function doesn't work very good. I just scratch start instead.

Surprisingly Good Machine!
I have been a pipe welder for over 25 years, and I have used a great many different machines to weld with. All different sizes of machines, from a portable $20,000 diesel welder all the way down to the small little buzz boxes that they have at Walmart. This machine for the price, and the size is a really great purchase for doing almost any welding around the house to fixing broken equipment on the farm. I was skeptical about purchasing this machine originally, I didn't think it would be much different than some of those small buzz boxes I mentioned earlier, but for just all purpose stick welding, or even making some nice smooth heliarc beads, it works great. I would recommend this machine to anyone who needs one.

Great Machine
This is a DC welder with TIG. Have been using it for a month now and it exceeded my expectations. It is light weight, compact and well made. It comes with a 5 year warranty so I know the company stands behind it. Welds 1/4" plate with no problem. A friend who has many years welding experience bought one and he was so impressed that I had to tell him "just shut up about how great this welder is" I know.

Bought this based upon a friend's recommendation
I bought this welder because a friend of mine recommended it. It's actually a very, very good welder. It has a nice smooth arc and the adjustments and duty cycle are perfect for long jobs.

Very capable welder
Nice to see there are quality welders available at this price. Everlast is a very well known welding company and I had a tough choice between a few of their products but finally decided on this one and will save up for one of their plasma cutters.

Reliable Performer
I like the fact that this welder is IGBT and not Mosfet like a lot of the cheap products out there. I don’t push my welder to the max but I know that with IGBTs I’ll have breathing room to weld a lot and not hit the duty cycle. A very, very reliable welder.
