The product was good . Although they didn't fit steel,commercial frames

These are not quite as thick as a commercial variety I have used, but they do the job.

This product can be used off-label for some old Datsun Roadsters as a rubber bump stop for the brake switch. Good product.

To smaller for commercial doors

Like many of the other customers posting here, I had bought these in previous years and was happy with the size. This new batch, in a new red package but still branded Everbilt, do not fit well in the holes in the metal door jamb. They are too small, making them too loose and likely to fall out. I really wish the old ones were still available.

They fit great and do the expected. My only suggestion is that they come in other colors.

These were plugged into what I believe to be industry standard commercial steel door frames with 3 silencer holes. The instructions show using a tool to install them, but it was not needed as they seem to be just a tad too small (in this case). These silencers fit loosely in the holes and can easily be pulled out and sometimes just fall out. A dab of silicone or similar may be needed to secure them in your installation. As for the quality of the silencer itself, they seem like they should stand up to doors banging into them for a long time.

They don't fit standard metal door frames. They are too small and fall out. I had to use super glue to keep them in place.

The door silencers work perfectly for my newly painted kitchen cabinets! The color is a perfect blend with my creamy colored color choice!

Not as tight as original silencers but they work good

I've bought these in the past for bilco bulkhead doors and they fit well. The newer version is smaller and fits the holes very loosely to the point they are barely falling out

I bought quite a few boxes to replace existing silencers installed on commercial doors. The original silencers fit just like the original. Then the packaging slightly changed, and so did the diameter of the plug. After this change, the silencers fit extremely loose and would fall out if left in place. Competitor product...here we come.

They were easy to install. They have worked perfectly to provide quiet and secure door closings.

These are a little smaller than the original ones, but they fit in the hole easier. Just hope they don't fall out.

easy to install and quieted my front door. The door was slamming into the frame and i felt like the noise was reverberating through the building. glad to quiet this down.

Although the fit could have been a little more snug, I could never imagined a nicer, gray door silencer. If your doors are a-banging, don't go complaining, get yourself some silencers. These also make great stocking-stuffers for he office holiday party. Your boss won't appreciate them as much as the rest of the staff, but for my money (and it was a serious investment after all), I'd just assume have the staff not flinching when Mr. Boss slams his door again. Live it up, don't delay! Buy today!

The product dimensions do not include the portion that is inserted in the door. Hence, they are much smaller than the original door silencers. So the ones purchaed fall out easily.
