I hung the shelf with the brackets to make more...
I hung the shelf with the brackets to make more space for my things in a closet that is too small. It looks great and really helps with the storgage problem. I plan on hanging more.

Glad I bought this heavy duty brackets. My Wife started piling magazines on it and she never figured on doing that. I would guess the Books weight fifty pounds . No Bending in Shelve.

Pretty sturdy and fairly easy to install except unable to get the rear screw into the shelf. Maybe they should offset the hole away from the brace.
