Great little screw. I chose this one to attach 1/8" plywood panel to a case I was making. I really like the wider head on this screw. It allows the screw to spread out the hold and prevents the screw head from digging into the plywood panel. The project came out great; I was very pleased. I would recommend this screw for your similar type project.

Great fastener for working with steel 2x4s. Self taping with a shallow head.

I keep different lengths of these on hand for everything. It is my go to for metal, vinyl, etc. They go in and lock on. The phillips slot is well made and I rarely strip a screw. Out of 50, i may strip 1-2 but it's because of the material Im drilling in and no pilot hole beforehand.
