I purchased Two units. They were very easy to install with the purchased tool.

Once the water heater was completely drained, it was easy to take out the old elements (with the help of the correct wrench). Replacing these two elements was much cheaper than having to replace the entire water heater - $25 versus $460.

One of my hearing elemps "went out" and was tripping the circuit breaker... I went ahead and replaced both elements while I had the tank drained... Both work great , as xpected...

Fit like a glove, in my reem 40gal. ,Make sure to get the social socket.

Can't get help in finding products.

Does not heat enough

Replaced about a month ago. They work just like the originals so far. If I get 5-10 years out of them, that'll be just fine.

Had to turn up the heat than usual. But good.

i flushed my hot water heater out, and replaced both elements. my hot water was getting cold before i got out of the shower. removing both elements, i found the bottom element was broken, i assume it rotted in half, one side was barely connected. i now understsnd why the hot water was running out so fast. replacing both elements, did the trick, plenty of hot water now ! i have a 50 gallon hot water heater. it's not hard to do, but, if you aren't mechanically inclined much, you might need a professional. be sure to turn off the breaker before you do any of this. (i have an electric hot water heater). flush your hot water completely till the water is clear. replace both elements. make sure they are the right ones for your hot water heater. it's been a month since i've done that, and i still have plenty of hot water.
