Does its job when installed correctly. Since its a threaded check valve, make sure you use enough thread sealing tape otherwise you'll still have small leaks after installation.

Works great! It fixed my problem even though the old seemed to have the same bounce back spring rate but I guess it something more than what I could actually see. System now works as it use to.

The product itself is fine except for homedepot dont sell slip check valves they are all threaded and when using on suction side of pump it's just another two connections that can fail ex. leak air or crack. I always try to buy at supply stores for this reason but purchased for convenience and after wish I would have went somewhere else.

Perfect for pool plumbing.

It leaks so I lose prime on my well line. Stick with a better version. Now I have a sprinkler tech replacing it.

I installed this on a basement bar sink drain line. The water is pumped up 7.5 feet in a 2 inch PVC line. The check valve was supposed to prevent the water from returning to the sink pump. .I exchanged it 3 times. ALL THREE ALLOWED water to return to the source! I'm really frustrated.. All the plumbing is done, and now this! I don't know what to do.

I just installed it. I is doing what it suppose to do. A fair review is to see how long it lasts. Most products would not be "dead-on-arival", but their quality would fairly be rating based on how long they last.

Worked perfectly in my sprinkler pump intake lake pipe. The increased diameter was useful to stop the cord where I tied the floater.

Pro: It's easy to install (both side are female, simply get some re-adjustments if needed). Con: - needs high pressure for the water to flow (I used it for mop sink, did not work at all; I replaced the screw inside with a much longer one to reduce pressure required for the water to flow) - Not really adjustable unless you did what I did, change the screw to longer one.

The valve was faulty, had to redo all the plumbing, buy new valve and parts and start over, wasn’t A happy camper.

I had one installed for about 6 months. I appears that it has failed and will not allow the sprinkler to maintain it’s prime. Note I had one of these installed in the same spot previously and it lasted for years. Installing a new one today.
