Love the Evaporative cooler cover tie-down straps ( 2-pk ) for air-conditioning evaporator coil. I thought I would use the straps for various needs. They are strong and 17 ft. long. They seem to be very well made. I need things strapped down to a cart to move them. These are just what I need for light weight jobs. I have various ratchet straps I use to haul heavy loads from Home Depot.

I am not sure what an evaporative cooler is, or why these straps would be packaged to indicate they are made specifically to hold down that kind of cooler. I am using them to hold down a car cover. They are long enough to completely wrap under and over my car to fully secure the cover, and the fabric weave strap material looks to be strong, durable and fairly weather-resistant. The metal cam buckles spring tightly closed, but the spring is exposed leaving some concern about it rusting and leading to eventual failure. I suppose only time will tell, but it doesn’t look encouraging (see picture). The 17’ length is reason enough to recommend it to others.

Excellent product. Each strap is 17 feet long. I’m using one to hold in place an AC condenser cover, and one for a bbq grill cover. Great replacement for the bungee cords I had been using.

My water cooler cover was secured with two straps. Both failed to keep the cover on the cooler on a windy day!

My old straps needed to be tied in a knot as they broke apart. Having these will keep the cooler cover snug over the winter.

Um, they are long enough to go all the way around, and then some, and the clip/buckle works as it should. No complaints.

Only in use about 1 month cover still there ! Seems better than bungee cords . 17 feet in length a bit much . Will trim to length I hope trimmed end will not fray . Will see how rayon (not nylon) holds-up .

was exactly what I needed

Overall, a decent strap for a cooler cover, although time will tell how well it holds up. It's been on the roof for a few weeks now, and it's done a good job holding down our cover. The spring-loaded mechanism does a pretty good job of holding on to the strap fabric and preventing slippage, and the fabric material looks like it should hold up pretty well outside.

While the straps are not flimsy, they are nothing like what is pictured. They are thin and not very wide would not buy again.
