I purchased two of these in the sandstone color and they work out really well in my tropical themed garden. I used a stake driven into the ground at one end and inserted the other end into the bottom of the statue to secure placement. Also used solar tiki lights on either side to accent at night; makes for an interesting effect at night!

Not bad for the price. Made of plastic but from just a few feet away looks convincingly like granite. I am happy with the purchase.

This Maori, aka an Easter Island Head, is perfect for our yard! Not only was this statue just what we wanted, it was a perfect example of what we wanted for a carving project by a local chainsaw artist. We'd cut down a sickly oak tree, leaving an 8 ft stump. The artist said this Maori statue left no doubts as to what we wanted him to do. We LOVE both our Maoris, this one in the front yard and the oak one in the back yard. It's priced reasonably and lightweight making it easy to move around the yard.

The statue looks heavy but is light weight....Water leaked out so we will be filing with sand.

This item looks great with my plantings and so surpasses the usual gnomes etc. that everyone else has.

This tiki statue is fabulous -- feels sturdy and would be easy to fill with sand for a more permanent installation. Very high quality for the low price. Everyone who sees him thinks he is super cool and the sticker on the bottom of this tiki says "Made in the USA" so you can't beat that!

This is a really cool item. It is great quality too. It would look nice in a garden but I made mine into a lamp. If you get the right led light bulb and a 5$ lamp base and put it inside the hole underneath it, this moai glows a nice yellow colour.

As a Chilean, I could not miss the opportunity to order this statue. In fact, I ordered three. They look beautiful in my backyard.

I absolutely love this little guy and had my eye on him for quite a while until I finally purchased him last month. Good quality and looks great! I bought some sand to put in it to weigh it down (there's a pre-made hole in the bottom for this purpose). Even though I knew the dimensions, I was a little surprised at how tall it was when it arrived, but it's perfect. A part of me wishes that it was about half its size (maybe only one foot tall) but then I would probably buy a bunch and turn my yard into a mini Easter Island - so maybe it's a good thing that they're the size they are, haha. So cute and I'll probably get another next year to keep my guy some company outside :)

Looks great out in the yard and can't wait for the plants to start growing around it.

I think it is going to work just the way I want it to......lights in eyes and water coming out its mouth as a water feature !

My Easter Island Sandstone Resin Head Statue arrived in great shape and looks great in my backyard woods. I've named him Fred Flintstone!

It was silly, but my boyfriend has a thing about moai, so I got him one.

I use it to cover an unsightly water spicket that is in my front yard. It is perfect and adds that ' little something'.

Not likely to see this anywhere else - so, you'll not worry about neighbors having the same thing.

I have wanted one of these statues for my yard for years but they have been too expensive! He is not quite as tall as I would like, would have liked him to be a couple of feet bigger, but he looks great surveying everything from his perch in the bushes. I picked the sandstone colour as the grey looked too dull and flat and it was the better choice I think, the colour is not too sandy and he blends in really well. The other good thing about him is that the dog is mortally afraid of him, so I move it about the yard to stop her going places she shouldn't! Am going to get a solar powered spotlight to light him up at night.

perfect size and nicely done ; I chopped a 35" tree down and left an 8' trunk' with a little tracing I cut the bottom out of the statue and it fits snugly . so it's about ten feet tall gazing toward the visible Pacific.

I m thinking about adding even more to my yard. I bought three some far.

I was initially going to display the statuary in the front of my house but now I'm afraid it might be stolen. I'm making a place for it in my enclosed patio in the back because of the desirability of the product.

This moai guy is incredibly cute in my garden, and really looks like he's made out of stone. I should've bought 2, just in case somebody steals this one. Absolutely love this statue!

I've been looking for the Easter Island Head for a while,and I was going to purchase one from England,but the cost was steep.I couldn't believe I could get it from Home Depot. I drilled a hole on top, added gravel, and potting soil,then put a trailing plant on top. This is the finishing touch to our garden.

I am very pleased because of the size/scale and price/value. It's visual impact, nestling in the tropical Florida landscaping around my lagoon, is very effective. Much of the DIY construction and install of this lagoon are Home Depot products (waterfalls, landscape blocks, plumbing parts, landscaping plants, palm trees and pond products).

outstanding, my only request is make them twice the size!

I am having a hard time getting the cap off the bottom so I can fill it with small rocks or sand. Don't want to break it... but does not twist off, and can't pop it off.
