Connectors were big enough to fit my insulated 12 gauge landscape wires through easily. The ability to crimp my landscape wires together made this product well worth it. Included 25 large and 25 small crimp barrels to fit whatever size you needed. Simply push wires through the small holes. Strip the wires. Twist the ends together. Slide barrel over and crimp down to make a tight connection that won't come loose. Then push the cap filled with dielectric silicon and you have a secure and waterproof connection.

Unfortunately, I purchased these elsewhere, as I didn't know at the time that Home Depot carried them. These are the ultimate connectors for landscape lighting. This is my third and final approach to installing landscape lighting in our 30-year-old home. The first thing to fail has always been the connectors. These should last forever. They make a water-tight solid connection. It is best to use a specialized crimper with these, but it is well worth it. Having found these, I could not in good faith ever recommend to anyone to use another product with landscape lighting.

I delayed installing my low voltage landscape lighting because the wiring connectors that come with the fixtures just don't last here in Southeast Texas because of the humidity.
