Heavy glass better than I expected

Love my new frameless shower door. What I like about it the most is that it is pretty much self cleaning. Well, not exactly, but the clear guard coating that it has really does help with the soap and water stains. I love it!

Exactly as described. Easy installation once you figure out the directions. This set was 1/3 the cost of having a glass company come out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

The beauty and apparent quality of this shower wall and door seems to justify its price. It was well-packaged as two heavy sheets of thick glass, each in a separate carton, both of which were packed inside a large outer carton. The hardware was packed in a separate box, also included in the outer carton. However, the installation instructions were poor, resulting in the active panel (the door) hanging 1/4 inch lower than the stationary panel. The general contractor stated that he used the provided threshold spacers to hold the door (with hinges installed) at the proper height before marking the eight holes to be drilled for mounting the active panel. 2017aug07(07:38)-sls

Solid shower door, easy to clean but slightly difficult to install.

I had a contractor install this and it took over 4 hours. You need to drill into tile so make sure you know what you're doing. It was worth it though because they look fantastic! You can also adjust the opening so it doesn't swing and hit the wall. You do have to seal one of the doors with Silicone and if you don't then the water can leak, but otherwise I would recommend this for the price. You'll get a beautiful rich look for a great value.

We didn't receive all the parts. We didn't get the upper brace for the stationary panel.

It was a bit challenging to install, but it looks beautiful and works perfectly.

One of the brackets didn’t fit but my handyman did a truck to have it fit correctly.

We hired a handyman to install the door and it took him 3 1/2 hours and he stillbcould not get the door to be completely aligned with the other side. The door looks great though and it makes our shower look more spacious.

Door comes with an 85 degree offset and the instructions aren’t adequate to address the solution to achieve a 90 degree solution. I’ve called the customer service division and have also made no progress with them. Bottom line.. the instructions need to be more clear prior to installing

Our contractor misplaced the support arm for the fixed panel and a replacement was shipped to us at no additional charge.

After patiently waiting 3 weeks we received glass product. Our subcontractor from Home Depot attempted to install but only to be disappointed by incomplete product. It was missing the hinges, Home Depot was contacted the refused to provide hinges but rather say send it back. Buyer beware packaging not complete.

I am returning the shower door. The support bar will not work for my installation.

The installers said this was quite a difficult, heavy piece to put it, but we sure love the look of it now that it’s in. We squeegee it after every use because we have hard water.

This Dreamline Shower door looks beautiful and well worth the extra time spent in prepping the walls for plumbness and support. We did a lot of research and reading up on this before prepping the walls. The installation manual was readily available online which helped in our planning and construction. Installation was fairly easy. Just my husband and i were able to get in installed in a day. I love the sleek clean open feel it gives our bathroom . It truly is a beautiful door and looks way more expensive than it actually is. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

What can I say? It sets off our tile shower better than I expected. Friends and family respond with "wows" and "I want one". Finish and operation were flawless and it came with a good set of instructions. I am a commercial carpenter with 30 years experience and your recommendation of professional installation is valid. It takes a lot of focus and near perfect execution to install. Comments: You state that there is no adjustment in width. Stating that the opening tolerance (IMO) is +- 1/16" would be more helpful. Your instruction to use the 5/8" shipping spacer to set height works but verifying the amount of side slope on the threshold could be important. The sweep contacts the outside (higher side) first and excessive cross slope could cause it to drag and inhibit closing. Not a problem for me but I did notice this potential issue.
