Hello, I'm sorry that the Delta faucet is not what you were expecting and that you're experience water spots. We work very hard to produce great products. Here is some basic cleaning and care information: Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains and calcium build up may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. Also take care to protect surfaces that may be damaged by vinegar. The white vinegar can stain porous stones like granite, limestone and marble. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: 409, Fantastic, or Windex, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub and Tile Cleaner, Lime Away and Soft Scrub. I'm sorry for any issue with your Delta lavatory faucet! There should be a slight gap under the handles to prevent grinding when you turn them. However, I would be happy to help you further as they should not be wobbly. I have sent you an email to gather some more information.

There will be both metal and plastic components used in the manufacturing of the WIndemere lavatory faucet, model #25996LF. However, regardless of the material the faucet still provides the same reliability you expect from a Delta faucet, the first time and every time.
