easy installation. The rubber washers seals were a little bigger than originals, but was able to tighten down the trim ring and squeeze them down. No leaks after 1 week.

The kit includes all rubber seals required. It was easy to install (though it came without any instructions) just parts in a bag. There is an adjustment nut (brass piece) which needs to be tightened but how much? After replacing kit it was leaking when turning to hot water (only). So apart it came. Made sure everything was clean and it still leaked. Tried adjusting force of adjustment nut, tighter, loser, med. nothing would stop leak. After 6+ attempts I called Home Depot customer service and their solution was go back on line and buy another one and return original. Very dry and no apology for inconvenience. Oh part is only online purchase so need to wait another 6 - 10 days.

Everything went easy (after is tightened the nut on one of the shut off valves slightly under the sink to stop it from leaking). I bought some silicone faucet lube since I couldn't find stuff I thought I still had. After that, the kit went in easy (there are many how-to videos online) and it stopped my leak under the handle and also the one that just started out of the spout. It all works very well now after about 12 years. However, I would not do this job without the lube...just my opinion i guess.

I put the new kit into the faucet and I handle still leaks just to like it did before. The online instructions were good though.

Had to purchase two kits. The first kit and the back ordered O rings never got here. The second kit, the wrench and O rings did not fit. Overall experience was very poor.

My first repair attempt with non-factory parts was not satisfactory. Using original Delta parts made the job both easier and correct the first try. I do wish these parts were available at the local store. However, ordering them online was easy and delivery was quick.

The delta faucet in my shower developed a drip. Wanted to replace the springs and seals. The packaging and kit are for a sink faucet, not a 35 year old shower faucet. I will have to permanently damage existing nylon components to get to the springs and seals and wanted to use these kit components to replace them but they are not identical. Product returned and I have a bucket collecting the drips.

The kit fixed the leak! However, the kit had a chrome outside housing on it and I had to reuse the old Stainless steel housing. Can you send me the part number for the Stainless steel kit?

No issues. Parts arrived quickly and everything was there and went together well.

This repair kit really had more than I needed but I used all the parts, could of just used the springs and washers. If you can buy just those you will probably fix your drips unless it is really an old faucet.

GOOD NEWS! IT WORKED BUT......I ordered this kit to repair a leaky Delta shower faucet. Home Depot was very quick about getting it in & letting me know it was available to pick up. CONS: It's too bad they don't just offer the springs and the seals only because that's all I needed and that's all that would work on my faucet. The diverter ball would not work because the shaft wasn't long enough, nor was it threaded for the screw to work with my present shower knob, so I used the old ball. Also, the new diverter & flange together would not give me the correct orientation & hot/cold mix at all. I found that the plastic guide just wasn't going to give me that. The outer cover/flange also would not work because it had no relief notches to be able to tighten it down without destroying the finish so, again I used my old one. I did use the brass adjustment ring as an upgrade to the old plastic piece. Once I arrived at the best, usable combination of new and old parts, I still had to take this all apart several times because even with the worn diverter, the faucet was so tight you could hardly move it to use it. PRO: I did get the needed parts and they were good quality. 6 weeks later it is still very tight to operate but at least it doesn't leak. Eventually it will loosen up a bit. I thought about using a little vaseline to see if that would make it operate better, but decided against that idea. PS: Be sure to duct tape over your drain before starting; that way if you drop the new springs/seals, they won't accidentally go down the drain! The kit rates a 3 for difficulty at arriving at a fix and for the cost, but the great service & prompt notification by Home Depot rates a bonus point @ 4.
