The space for the lift rod was too large so it could not lift the stopper high enough to let the water drain from the sink.

Overall a good replacement for the old Delta stopper. It was a little tight at first, but it loosened up after manipulating it up and down in the drain. It allows for two heights and the extension easily breaks off if you need to remove it (which I did).
