Excellent fit & finish

We looked at all of the big box stores and could not find wood floor grates. Everything was metal and not what we wanted to use with our new floor. We finally found the wood grates at Home Depot.

Does not look like the photo. Received an unfinished Oak with rough edges, visible glue at seams. Product has holes for screwing to wall, also not shown in photo. Returning.

The color was not what I expected. It was like a red oak when I was expecting a more natural color oak finish.

Worked well for flush mount on hardwood flooring with minor trimming of curved edges.

Looks great matches all the new wood work that we stained. It comes with the holes predrilled so there is no guessing were to put the holes. looks so much nicer then the old metal ones

It looks so nice with the oak trim I have. It looks like it belongs there and has always been there.

The vent cover was intended for the vent situated on the riser in the stair case. The vent insert fit but the fascia was too big.

There needs to be a photo of the guts of the grate so you understand how it works. The open close mechanism is plastic. You open by pushing left and close by pushing right. NOT the conventional spinning mechanism. It had to be cut off to allow for the carpet, which went well, we used a table saw.

I bought these online since nobody carried them in local stores. Was expecting them to be a hassle to install and having to put in work to get them up but after tracing the holes from our old covers they all slid snug Ito place perfectly. Tiny thing, huge impact. Looks amazing!

Great alternative to metal registers. Looks great with hardwood floors. Wouldn't recommend using in high traffic areas.

It doesn't fit properly. It doesn't fit snug to the wall and leaves a gap. Will be returning it. Nice product - just not what I needed.

We recently had our wood floors re-done and wanted to make the room look really special. The wood heat register grille blends in beautifully and looks lovely. One issue, however, is that the register does not lie flat against the floor so would not be good for a high traffic area.
