Good quality for price

I have cooked microwave meals and soup and time defrosted sub wraps. For their purposes food results are good.

Control panel heavily skewed for sensor cooking. Not even a button for beverages. Timed cooking most inconvenient to use of any microwave I've owned. Worst is that the turntable now emits a loud rumbling noise like marbles banging around when the unit runs. And it does not turn smoothly. Case is cheap tinny metal. Sounds like a piece of junk when opening or closing the door.

I bought this microwave to replace a previous Danby microwave that wore out. I like the "Favorites" programmable button for frequently used timings/power levels. The defrost buttons by time or by weight also come in handy. It also had to fit on a small stand since I have no free counter space available. I use it many times each day.

Wal-Mart is close to me, so I had purchased a Panasonic there - it was a piece of trash. After much research, I found this Danby (I wanted white, which made the search tougher). This microwave is a little jewel! It does everything I want it to do, and very well, and looks great in my kitchen. Also Home Depot was very helpful with the online ordering process, and pickup. I couldn't be happier!

Have only had it for 2 months, works well, have had no issues thus far. The price was good. It was delivered in two days.

It is a wonderful appliance, heats thoroughly, however, when you open and close the door, it is so loud you can't use it when someone is sleeping. Which is hard at my house because everyone sleeps at different times. The appliance itself is very efficient. I probably wouldn't even use it if I lived in an apartment building at night because you would hear it through the floors if you were sleeping in that area.

Very happy with this micro. Lots of convenient features. Only one complaint, that the support for the glass tray is a bit shallow and therefore somewhat precarious.

So far has been very satifactory. I like the one touch operation for 1-3 minutes. My only reservation is the glass revolving plate tends to easily slip off the track.

Good, but too many buttons to push for less than 30 seconds use.

A little smaller than I hoped for but it works well for my needs... I won't recommend any product until it has been used for a while...

This unit was broken and it was a hassle to return it.

Arrived damaged. No tape on top of box. outside side of box wasn't damaged at all so it was a surprise to see the entire right side of the microwave dented up, at an angel, like a wing! it could only be that the microwave was already damaged before it was pout back in the box to be shipped.

Our third microwave in just a few years. The first was a cheapo that worked fine (after I modified it to stop an irritating buzzing), but it quit after about a year. We spent a lot more for a better name and it gave us trouble from the beginning. After the warranty ran out, I discovered the defective part, but it had other problems, so I got the Danby. The Danby is still working well, is easy and handy to use, and has useful features. I really appreciate the warranty extension for registering on-line. There are a lot of really old microwaves around that still function, and it looks like our bad luck has ended.

Solid unit. Interior larger than it seems. Heats reliably. The programmable timer and power level adjustment easy to use. The one touch function for the 1, 2 and 3 minute cook time convenient. I also use the "+ 30 sec" feature on the start button often. "Frozen Vegetable" function steams frozen vegetables to perfection. My husband likes that it beeps to remind you it is done and then does not beep again. Only flaw is that the light interior has stained and I haven't found a product to remove the stains.

We do not cook big meals in the Microwave. We use it to heat coffee and other liquids. I do like several features that we use all the time. Reheat does a great job on leftovers. Using the Potato button is a great way to make baked potatoes of any size and variety. The unit has performed well.

Love almost everything about this microwave (it just beeps 3 times when finished cooking & opening the door doesn't interrupt the beeps so if you're trying to make a hot chocolate in the middle of the night--it will beep unless you catch it before the completion time--not a deal breaker). Looked at a bunch before deciding on this one & it's awesome in color, size, warranty, abilities--I especially like that you can push just one button & have it cook for 30 sec or 1,2,3 min automatically. The cook timer is a little tricky the 1st time you do it--just read the owner's manual--anyone could figure it out (just remember to put a zero in front of the time i.e. 0430 (for 4 min 3 sec). Intuitively operable machine. Thanks Danby! It was hard to find in local stores. Finally, Costco had it for a few days online--worth tracking down as most of the others on the market are junk (I did end up returning 3 prior to this purchase for either blowing the breaker, having no interior light (a deal breaker for me) or just being cheaply made.
