This is a great microwave. It is attractive next to my other stainless appliances.

Does all the work I want it to do, nice looking in my home

When the microwave first arrived I thought it was too small but after using it I have no problem. Heats fast and holds standard plates. Mine sits in a wall but would definitely recommend if you have limited counter space, looks great with stainless steel appliances

Since this is not a commerical grade microwave, I will be suprised if it last the rigours of 4 years of college dorm life.

I had just move, my budget was limited so I needed to go for a good deal out there. Danby brand does not light any bulb in my head but after reading almost hundreds of reviews from big contenders, was impress there was not clear outstanding Microwave and that one with best rating (the one with the oven included) was 200+ Looking for something else at HD I found this one, checked on internet and even was able to get $10 down +10% out the box the unit is simple, seems stylish, does not seem like a 60+ Microwave but you know that you get for what you pay for but so far here we need to stop. Unit is outstanding, performs great on every thing I had tried to do, even Pop Corn, from 5 different microwaves I had seen in my life (mother, own, Etc) this is the one that better do the pop corn, cooks evenly, easy to clean. life time still is a ?, but so far very happy and would highly recommend.

This product has features which I will probably not ever use. I guess this isn't a bad thing.

Good microwave for the price. It works for just me. Only negative thing is that it beeps A LOT after food is done and I can't stop the beep even if I hit the stop button.

I have been using the product for 1 week now, so far so good. The new 'smell' burning off each time you use it has gotten better, the features are nice, however the key pad may take more than one tap to change input. Food seems to heat evenly/thoroughly and the machine is nice looking, and quiet.

Overall the appearance is great with the stainless steel look accents on the black body. Goes great with my other appliances. Downsides: the door is pretty loud when it closes. I have tried to be more gentle with it but no matter what I do it is just loud. Also, I am not a big user of the preset buttons (i.e. popcorn, potato, etc.) but they are features on just about any microwave out there these days. Lastly, I don't like having to read the manual to figure out how to work a microwave. It should be self explanatory or easy to figure out. I haven't yet figured out how to get it to cook without using the presets or the quick cook settings. Guess I have to pull out the manual...

This microwave is small enough to fit on the counter, yet powerful enough to do the job.

This is for the DMW1158BL model of this product. We were happy to find a product made in our good neighbor to the north, Canada. However, after about 9 months the interior had deteriorated. We were told to sand and then spray the finish with a food-safe paint. After consulting at paint stores this was not considered practical or safe. Contacting Danby again, I was curtly told I had "neglected" the product and they refused to honor the warranty. I have had microwaves before that lasted up to 10 years without a problem with the interior, so I do not think I "neglected" this one. I wrote a protest to the CEO of Danby and have had no answer in over a month. I find that the company does not care about its customers.

Adequate size and cooking options. Our refrigerator is stainless front and black sides so this microwave matches it perfectly. Much faster cooking time than our old one.

Very quiet, but no problems with the power overall. We got it to replace a panasonic that failed when the push button door mechanism broke, so the pull door seems like an advantage to us. Looks nice, simple clean design.

We purchased this microwave for a small business (8 employees). It heats food & drinks well, has a good design, and was a decent price.

I purchased this little microwave for my home office. I love the look of the microwave, it is very classy and compact. I was surprised the first time I used it, that it was so incredibly quiet! It works quickly and efficiently. I am 100% satisfied!

Got this on a clearance and very happy with. It looks like those higher price one. Works great. Glad I got it.

KEYPAD IS NOT SENSITIVE ENOUGH TO EASILY ACTIVATE. MUST USE A LOT(!) OF PRESSURE TO ACTIVATE COMMANDS WHICH MAKES THE UNIT MOVE FROM IT'S LOCATION CAUSING ONE TO RE-POSITION UNIT EACH TIME IT'S USED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNIT IF ONE HAS ARTHRITIS IN THEIR HANDS OR FINGERS.

I'm very pleased with this microwave. It's the perfect size to fit under my cabinets and performs very well. I LOVE the 30 second feature !

Purchased this microwave to replace an old one and it's almost perfect. It has all of the features that I wanted, looks great with other stainless items I own and is unbelieveably quiet unlike my old one. My only very minor complaint is you really have to push the numbers harder than normal but hopefully that will change some with age. Highly recommend this microwave.

It is easy to use and does not take up alot of counterspace. It looks great.

I searched for a microwave that would have the punch that the larger ones have but compact enough to fit into a tiny NYCity apartment. I purchased this for my son just under two weeks before Christmas. This was coming directly from the manufacturer and I received it in plenty of time before Christmas. I purchased this one on the strength of the positive buyers. My son uses it every day and just finds it to be a great asset to his busy life of a medical student. I was very pleased with it and am looking to purchase one for my home as well.

We've had this microwave for a few weeks now and we're very happy. It fits a full sized plate. We only use the full power function, so I can't speak to the features. We use the '30 sec' button almost exclusively. My only complaint is pretty silly - when the time is up, the bell sounds, but it keeps sounding regardless of the fact that you have opened the door. I'd prefer if the bell stopped when you opened the door as I have had on previous machines.

Am happy overall w/ this Danby. Like the handle, the contours of stainless steel on black... There is a 30 sec option (simply pressing Start gives you 30 sec), as well as a per minute quick start if you press 1, 2, 3, et... for those many minutes. Programming the keypad for the power one prefers is also an option though I haven't gotten to that. Feels a little light (the door), but is a difference from last microwave only.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. It is more compactthan my last one but still has great cooking power.

The microwave is a great looking countertop addition. It is easy to see the buttons and they are useful options. The only problem I had was the small plastic wheel disc that sits under the glass platter was broken when I received it. Hopefully I can find a replacement locally.

This is a great microwave. It has a nice feature that lets you click one button to set the time. And you can also +:30 to the time which many don't have.
