Color not even close. No bronze. Only diaper brown. Worst tile I've ever seen as compared to picture

Completely different from pictures

After ordering many samples of tile for my kitchen backsplash trying to get the texture and shades of color I was hoping for, this was IT. Lovely shading but not too busy, real stone like texture but easier to drill through to hang pot rack etc. Looks awesome cut to 6 1/2 by 13 and laid subway style with an inset behind just the stove area of Jeffrey Court slate 1 inch mosaics trimmed in Jeffrey Court 4 x 12 yacht harbor slate accent.

This tile is great if only you didn't have a bunch of broken pieces when it was delivered

Love this Ayers Rock Tile. Used it in our master bath remodel and liked it so much we put it in a second bathroom, using lighter tiles on the walls and darker tiles on the floor. Its beautifully patterned. Just finished both bathrooms this year and are very pleased. Definitely met our expectations. Would recommend it to anyone.

Many tiles were broken and the store was aweful on returning them

We are finishing our basement and found left over tiles from our master bath from over three years ago. My husband and I loved the tile the first time that we figured we'd just keep using it. Fits well with our palette of blues and grays. It's a great looking, versatile tile that closely resembles slate. Very happy.

Beautiful product that has the look of slate, but the durability and price of porcelain tile.

I spent a long time searching for the right color of tile for my shower area and I was worried that this one wouldn't be right because I couldn't see it before ordering. I was able to see bathroom photos with this one used and they looked great, so I went with it. The result is beautiful! We used all the different sizes for a professionally designed look and I am very pleased with the color. I wasn't the installer so I can't speak to its ease of installation, but the final product, with a darker color of grout is excellent. It was just finished so I don't yet know about longevity. Overall, I'm very satisfied and it came in before the date predicted by Home Depot.

I found this Daltile Ayers Rock (Majestic Mound) product when it was first introduced at the showroom and fell in love after a long search for a slate look porcelain based on texture, colors, and realistic look. Two years ago, I had my hall and guest bath tile installed. After rocking 2 walls in my living room with a 24" high raised slab 4" slate hearth for a corner woodstove, I installed this tile below on the floor angled on the 2 walls with my wood flooring throughout the rest of my room. This tile saved my home from burning down! One evening I was poking around the fire and a large and heavy burning log rolled out and dropped down onto this porcelain tile. Not a crack nor a mark was left! I have other Daltile porcelain in my home in my MBR with a huge walk in shower that has also been dropped on with absolutely no marks or breakage. The review I read only giving this tile 3 starts was unfair based solely on a shipping problem and not the actual product itself.

The tile is exactly what we wanted for a major kitchen remodel (back splash and trim). Despite some issues with the order, the tile is up and anyone who sees it, including the installer, really thinks that it is slate. It is beautiful. Daltile makes a very good product and this is a testimony to that.

Had to call to get 10 tile out of 100 sqft replaced due to pre install breakage. Hopefully this isn't indicative of what we get once they're walked upon regularly.

Good product - nice colors - a bit pricey in the 6.6"
