The triangle attachment that secures sandpaper is an extreme flaw. I attached yet a third unit today and within 5 minutes, about 4 feet of 3" inch board, the material had melted down to useless, the sandpaper begins to loose grip and shifts around on the attachment. The backing on the paper when I went to remove had partially melted into the attachment. And finally two of the 3 corners actually broke away in material chunks. This is the third attachment I've purchase and all 3 failed in the same quick manner. I bought this tool for the purpose of sanding small tight corners around doorframes, light fixtures, outlets and so on, as I am redoing our log siding. I believed it would save time but it has only proven to be a costly mistake.

Do your self a huge favor and don't buy this. I needed to sand some cabinets and this feel apart on me in less than 15 minutes. I should have headed the other reviews I read online that said the velcro part falls off rendering this useless.

The total unit is easy to use. The trigger is variable speed and takes some getting used while trying to get the right speed. However the platen (the triangle acc. has a definite flaw in its material since it melts with just a little use. This part is hard to find because it classified as an accessory and not a part. Be prepared to replace these platens on a regular basis.

This product works great with my DeWalt 20 volt oscillating saw. It attaches and detaches quick and is easy to use. It makes quick work of the small jobs that I have used it on so far. I highly recommend this attachment to anyone who has the DeWalt oscillating saw.

Not compatible with the MM45. It will not stay seated, pops out of the locking mechanism after 30 seconds. I returned one of 2 -- the opened one I took a loss.

Works perfectly. Allows you to get into tight places.

This worked well but the quality isn't great. I needed to sand some old paint off in corners I couldn't get to with my orbital sander. It was a big job but by the end the edges of the sanding pad were all chewed up. I had little chunks of the black rubber/foam coming off and I wasn't treating it roughly. I think this is going to happen no matter which brand you use but I would have thought it would last longer than it did. I will need to buy another before I start my next project.

This is a great tool for many applications.

Did not fit my Fein oscillator so do not know how it works.

An excellent product for the DeWalt oscillating tool. I don't understand why Home Depot doesn't carry it and DeWalt brand sandpaper for the pad in its stores.

After about 1 min the sandpaper detached from the pad...

Pad does what it's supposed to. Fits my DeWalt OMT very well and stays snuggly fit while in use. One issue I found was that the rubbar pad can get worn down when you haven't been paying attention to how worn the sandpaper is, and the pad then becomes misformed. For this reason I would have preferred a metal underlay under the hooks. No other issues.

Did not buy the kit but buying all accessories available for the tool. All of them are best quality and useful

all the pads home depo and others seem to have the same probllem. heat from friction caused the hook and loop to fail. you can rotate a few pads before they heat up was one idea.good but they dont last..
