Based on your commentary indicating: "The can was only filled 25 percent at the most." may indicate that you purchased a package that was previously sold/used/returned/restocked. If you should encounter product that was sold in unacceptable condition, the product should be returned to the point of purchase (DAP will issue a credit to the retailer for the returned item) or alternately, the product (with proof of purchase) can be returned directly to DAP for a refund of your purchase price.
