Plain, simple, and tough.

While it is made reasonably sturdy, the holes are so small, it gets clogged frequently and is a nuisance. The holes should be at least twice the size. What you are trying to prevent is silverware falling in the drain, not tiny food bits.

Would be more serviceable if it had a rubber ring around the outside perimeter.

I also purchased a stainless steel sink stopper and strainer combination later, I found that it looked better, But the strainer mentioned here works much better and is very easy to clean and keeps the water flowing freely through the holes

This strainer fit my old disposer with only minor sanding in order to fit properly. Works great since the installation date.

Fits both sides of the sink drain holes perfectly. Best product out there.
