The griddler I received did not operate properly from the moment I received it. After the temperature is set, a small red light can be seen until the grill reaches the set temperature. At that point, the light turns green. There is a light for the upper and lower grill. The light for the bottom grill never turned green. I'm not sure if the problem is with the light or maybe the bottom grill never reached the set temperature? I'm returning the grill and requesting a refund. The grill is also much larger and heavier than I expected. I ordered it because of its features, but am sadly disappointed. I'll keep looking for a similar grill that is made by another manufacturer.

I had a smaller Griddler but decided to upgrade to the Griddler Deluxe. It has a bigger surface to cook on, the plates have both the flat and grilling side together so you just flip them to the side you want. There are no extra plates to store and no upper or lower plates. It also has a built in grease catcher so no little cups that get knocked out of place. This is the best Griddler I have owned. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I use it every day.

I have a very small area to cook in right now, and I needed something I could do a variety of things with. This fits the bill, from making hamburgers and frozen pizza. With a little imagination, I actually use it more than my air fryer!

We purchased this to replace our old griddle (12-15 years old). This new one works great and the new features are really nice, the drip pan in the back works so much better than the cups at the front corner. I really like the height adjustment too.

So far its working great. better then the old one I had.

Before I go into the review of this item, I want to give some background info. About 2 years ago I purchased a George Foreman Grill and Broil, and I loved it. It was small and for the most part, it was almost perfect for 2 of us. The reason I said "almost" was for 2 reasons. The first was that it was really hard to clean between the handle and the grill plates (their grill plates had handles), and the screws on the grill plates were rusted. The 2nd reason was that after about a year, the non-stick plates were no longer "non-stick" which was kind of a pain. One inconvenient thing about the George Foreman Grill and broiler was that it could only cook 2 steaks, or 2 hamburger patties at a time, which was all we needed most of the time. On a rare occasion it would of been nice to be able to cook 4 patties or 3 steaks, but really wasn't a major deal for me. When storing, I would put the plastic drip tray between the plates, and that was my fatal mistake. I went to use the George Foreman Grill and Broil and forgot to remove the plastic drip tray when I plugged it in to start preheating. I'm sure you can guess what happened :) So now that I ruined my George Foreman Grill and Broil, I needed a replacement. When I was trying to decide what to get, I came across this gem. First of all, I love how the drip tray actually has a slot in the back that it stays in, so I don't have to store it between the trays. I love the size of the grill plates as I am able to grill 4 burgers at a time if needed, or 3 steaks. I rarely need that extra space, but it is nice to have when I do. I like how the temperature controls have lights on them that will let you know when the plates are preheated and ready to go. I haven't needed to do all of the features that this has at the moment as I primarily use this for burgers and steaks, but I do enjoy having options to try new things at a later date. The first 2 times I used this grill, when I lifted the cover after cooking to remove the food, the angle of the top plate was such that the grease dripping off of it missed the drip tray and landed on the countertop behind the drip tray. I started placing a paper towel behind the drip tray to prevent this, but now I notice that the top plate is now positioned perfectly so any drippings do go in the drip tray. I think I will continue placing a paper towel behind it just in case, but just something to consider when using it. Cleaning: here is a major difference between this product and the George Foreman that I had before. With the George Foreman, I found it easiest to clean while the plates were still super hot. Since the plates on that grill had handles, you could remove the plates while they were still hot. The George Foreman was easy to clean the first year when the non-stick plates were still non-stick, but after food started sticking to it it became harder. There are no handles on the plates of this grill, so you have to wait for it to cool down before you can remove the plates and clean them. What I have found is that these clean very easy, and I love how there are no screws attached to the plates that could get rusty. Overall, I say this is a definite buy if you are in the market for something like this. And if you want my recommendation on the perfect steak, Eye of Chuck or Chuck Eye, depending on the store you shop at. In my opinion, it is a little better than a ribeye for a fraction of the price. They are hard to find though as they are the end pieces the butcher gets when they are cutting the chuck roasts.

Versatile functionality, superlative design, easiest cleanup, quality materials, solid construction. This unit makes cooking a pleasure.

Great! I mainly got it for grilling steaks, put a cover over the stove and use the vent hood---fresh grilled steak in under 10 minutes including cool down during half time priceless! obviously everything else is assume too!

For a number of reasons we've only gotten to use the Griddler once (and probably again tonight,) but it was more than fine. Easy to use, very good instruction manual, cooked things evenly and a little faster than we expected but we'll experiment with timing. We're totally satisfied and pleased. Forget George Foreman.

I have looked at this Griddler for many months. Watched videos and reviews. Finally, I bought it. It is absolutely one of the best investments I have made. Great steaks in minutes. I love that there is no turning of food and both sides heat perfectly. I plan to purchase again as gifts for my sisters. Absolutely love this wonderful kitchen addition.

Easy to use and clean. We noticed an uneven heating between bottom and top plates, however, moving food around mitigated the effect.

I LOVE this Griddler. I use it for steak, quesadillas, panini's, and pancakes. It is the best Griddler I have ever had. This is my second one because one griddle on the first one quit working which was a bummer. I highly recommend it.

overall a good buy- only issue is sometimes the warming plates get hung up when released or the clips need to be reset when re-installing them. otherwise - it cooks evenly and the food is prepared well - we use it everyday.

I absolutely love it I would have gave it a 5 star but the back or the top griddle it seems not to stay tight in the oil does no dripped in the oil Pan like it should. But I would recommend the griddle

It worked great the first time. Now will not maintain temperature. I have to keep adjusting the temperature to get everything to cook.

Great little kitchen tool. Instead of frying with grease all over stove, I close the lids and both sides cook at once. All the juice and grease go in the little container and can be emptied easily.

We literally use this every single day! It takes a sandwich to a whole new level. The floating top is amazing and the fact that it opens up flat for pancakes is a bonus! With the reversible plates and grease drainage system, even frying food like bacon and burgers is easy. The clean up could not be easier!

We upgraded to this one and love it. Had one that lasted several years. This has more features and is now a staple kitchen appliance.

Sear means sear. Like this very much. Heats up quickly. Does its job. Works for even thicker cuts of meat. Seems to heat more evenly than my old different brand countertop grill. When it is 116 or hotter here, it is nice to be able to grill indoors.

Most versatile griddle I have ever owned. I need no other utensils because this works as two independent cook tops. I could give so many examples how many ways to use this griddle but discovering it’s uses is part of the fun. Clean up is way too easy!

Excellent product. Can do it all! Very easy to clean. We use it so often I just made a space for it on the counter.

love our Griddler Deluxe! the only hiccup we had (which was quickly replaced by Cuisinart at no charge) was the drip pan... over time it didn't fit flush against the unit and we had some leakage between the pan and griddler. The new pan fits great! 5 stars for the product and customer service!

Used it for a few months now, really like it! Have made burgers, sausages, grilled veggies, steaks and got the non-cuisinart manufactured waffle plates (don't know why they don't make them, wish they did) so also made waffles. Sometimes the liquid/fat excess doesn't all end up in the gathering container, but usually the leak is fairly small and easily remedied by putting the griddler on something I can toss like a paper towel. Wish the power cord was longer. Despite these (in my view) minor annoyances, quite happy with this!
