I think the pliers are expensive however they do the job they are designed to do. This is an expensive prices for someone who does not use this everyday. It appears that you can buy a premade cable for less than buying a set of these pliers.

Does not cut and crimp well. 7.99 dollar pair from another home store worked alot better

Their a good pair of crimpers to have in the tool bag but not quite as heavy duty as a professional would need for every day coaxial crimping!

It's a good tool, works excellent for me, not intended for high productivity work, but great for DIY Jobs.

Been stripping, crimping and cutting wire, coax and all things electrical for over a decade in my rentals. Had this coax tool for a week, but only used it for two hours. This coax strip and crimp device was too dull to properly strip coax RG6 and crimping was likewise a disaster. Save yourself the time, frustation and money. Make the investment in compression coax fittings and steer clear of this tool.

Not a professional low volt guy but have done enough to know what works good and this is perfect got home do it yourself

I used this crimper and two plugs for an emergency repair. This is the old school way of terminating coaxial cable, but it works very well. The hard part is making sure you have selected the right plug for your cable type. The crimper did a good job.

Tool worked very well, both cutting and crimping.

It did exactly what I needed it to do. That simple.

I used this to crimp 2 coax cable ends. I was able to strip the cable and crimp the ends, however it was not user friendly and the resulting crimps are ugly.

I returned this because the nut on the axis bolt broke off when I removed it from the packaging.

If you ever need to make coax cable, or to create short ones for cable modem (I hate having wires all over the place) this tool is an important addition to your tool box. It makes cutting the coax, casing and wire a snap, and crimps the ends to exactly the right size. Making coax cable without this tool is just aweful.
