Easy to install and very bright. IT was perfect for the location I bought it for.

I am not a fan of throw away goods. I'll see how long this lasts. There are no light bulbs. Instead there's an Led strip, a concept I was unfamiliar with. That said, this is a good looking ceiling light, affordably priced and bright. Much brighter than my former light. And it is a soft light, no led/fluorescent blueness to it.

We bought several of these for use in a bathroom and laundry room. For awhile they looked nice - simple and sleek - and worked well, giving good light. Then, after about a year, one of the two units in the laundry room started to flicker periodically, and very aggressively...nothing you could just ignore - the other light unit did not, and since they're on the same switch in the same room, I have to assume that it's an issue with the single unit. Then we tried to check if there was any problem with the wiring or anything else that might be a clue as to the problem, but to disconnect the lighting unit from the ceiling you need to unscrew the glass lens - and on this one unit, that is not possible. No idea what the problem is, but we can get the lens off of the other units, but no matter what we try, we can't get it off the one that's experiencing the flickering. The only option appears to be to break the glass lens - carefully and with a bag underneath - and then remove the fixture. Crazy. So, obviously, this is a mixed review - don't want to discourage you from buying this fixture, but you should be aware that it can be quite painful to try to repair or even replace...

I have broken two of these trying to remove the glass cover. If you don't have rubber grippers or something you are unlikely to be able to remove it. in both cases the entire fixture came down trying to remove the globe cover. And yes they were mounted VERY Firmly. It is just impossible to remove the glass cover from this fixture. They look very nice, but I would not recommend as removing the globe to clean is way too hard, as indicated by others as well.

Simple installation; less than 5 minutes. Great improvement to the lighting quality in our mud room.

Nice cheap light feature

This was installed for me and, had I known the light source is not replaceable, I would never have allowed them to install it. It stopped working after a couple years and I couldn’t figure out how to replace the bulb, so I just called company only to find out that I can’t just replace a lightbulb, the entire fixture needs to be replaced. Now I have to hire an electrician to replace it, as I am not able. What an incredibly expensive fixture this has turned out to be! Save yourself time and a LOT of money and buy a fixture that only needs a lightbulb replaced when it goes out!

Seems to be exactly as described, but a little brighter than desired. Big thing is to see how long it lasts.

Great for a basement stairwell

Brand new fixture; professionally installed less than a week ago and suddenly exploded 10 seconds after shutting off, as I was walking out of the room...into tiny, sharp shards that exploded out and sent projectiles at least 10-12 feet. I have another of these fixtures in the hall and I’m very concerned and will probably take that one down and return both. Very disappointed in poor quality and HUGE safety hazard,
