The key to success with this product is using more strips than what the directions call for. If you use the minimum recommendation, more than likely your items will eventually fall. I usually double up the amount and maybe even more based on weight. If you are decorating with items which have skinny frames, just cut the strips down the middle. You can even use a combo of large and medium sized strips if needed for an item. I always use Command products when it comes to decorating college dorm walls and even the furniture for my college aged children. All spaces in the room are open for business when it comes to decorating. My move-in tool kit always includes: scissors, ample supply of command products, a level, and a measuring tape. NOTE the Brick-wall paper is yet another product which Home Depot sells! It's removable and will not damage the wall at all. NOTE that the curtains are hung with command hooks - which are especially made for hanging curtains.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so glad I got this, I used 4 sets of these to hang a big heavy picture in my sons nursery room. I love that I don’t have to put holes in my walls and I am amazed at how sturdy these strips are! I at first didn’t understand the concept of having them lock together with the Velcro, but my husband helped me and it all made sense after that haha! One section goes on the wall and the other on the picture frame. From there you stick them together by pressing down on them! So easy and wasn’t hard to use at all! My husband and I are super happy with these command strips we actually went Out and bought more to hang up the rest of our babies picture frames. Great product, very sturdy and my pictures are nice and secure! I am a command strip fan now! Just stick, peel and hang!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest, I was very nervous to hang a large picture on these Command Strips. I was afraid they wouldn't hold but guess what? They hold very well and my wall looks great. The best part is no nail holes.

Command picture hanging strips came to the rescue. Different size frames and weight was quick going with the strips. No problems getting them all level. Directions are simple and easy to follow. I love the simple and easy instructions. I love the idea of not putting nails into my walls and being able to remove easily if decide to move spot of hanging. As in other reviews I too have lost several picture frames because of failure to hold. Very disappointing and I too seek compensation.

You don't have tonworry about putting big holes into your wall or the nail ripping out of the wall. Easy to apply and will continue to buy this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the command strips to hang a picture up on my bathroom that has no hooks in the back of the picture for nails. I struck four of the strips on that a picture up to 16 lbs and it held my picture up perfect and laid nice and flat against the wall. I love my picture in the bathroom.

I followed the instructions closely and hung a large picture. The strips really grip and hold the picture in place. I placed the picture over a week ago and it hasn’t slipped or fallen. Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Command strips rock! I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but I’m sold! I’ve seen the commercials, but I just wasn’t sure. How could something I just stick to a wall hold the weight of a picture like a nail or screw? Well, I don’t know what kind of magic they have in these things, but they’re amazing! Super easy to install and even easier to take down! I did a test run taking one off in an inconspicuous area of the wall to make sure it wouldn’t mar the paint and it was totally fine. I’m super impressed! It’s holding my picture up just great and I didn’t have to ruin the wall with a nail or screw. I’m definitely going to be using these in the future; you’ve got to try them! Five stars, for sure! I highly recommend!

Be sure your area is clean with alcohol before applying. Velcro allows you to do minor adjustments I’d needed. I like to move things around and I can do so easily with this product.

After trying it out I was very surprised! It did exactly what it said it would do. I was able to hang my pictures on the wall without causing any damage to the wall. I am very impressed! My pros are there is no damage to the wall. It hangs pictures beautifully! There are no cons for me.

I was amazed at the strength that these hooks were able to hold, and the best thing about this is when I have to move from this rental apartment there’s going to be no damage I won’t have to do any repairs! It’s really a great product!

The best thing since paint was invented. It’s actually a product that STICKS!! To its truth.

Used this product to hang a mirror that is approximately 5 feet tall, using four pairs (two on top, two 2/3 down per instructions) Followed all instructions precisely. However, when removing the mirror for the hour waiting period after initially sticking on the wall, the two bottom pairs would not unsnap, and instead it ripped huge chunks of paint off my wall. I believe it is because the mirror is so long, is is difficult to get the proper angle to unsnap the pairs. If you can, just use regular screws/hangers. If I had, I would have had far less damage, even though i followed directions precisely. Regular screws are much easier to hide/fix mistakes than these command strips. And they are far cheaper.

The other did too, that was, until I had to take it off the wall. Here's to hoping my dorm doesn't make me pay for damages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite home project to date! I loved it so much I started the adjoining wall across the hall. I used the large picture hanging strips on the second wall. They were not readily available when I did the larger wall, but I sure wish they had been!! That wall was done with nails and took me 3 long afternoons to get everything just right. When I started the second wall, all I had to do was stick the strips together, peel and stick it to the picture and press it on the wall. Not measuring, no trying to get it to hang straight. It was perfectly spaced every time! I was finished with the pictures and plaques I had for the second wall in an hour. As you can see the second wall is far from finished. Waiting for a family wedding to take place to finish off more of the wall.....Everyone that walks into my house loves these walls. They are filled with family, friends, cute sayings, and you can just feel the love and sense of family in that room. It has definite WOW factor!!

Proud to display these my my new place. Don't want them damaged (falling off the walls) so that's why I'm using this product.

When I left my home- all the walls had nail holes. In my new home, everything- and I mean everything is up with Command hooks.Even heavy frames. Command hooks make it easier to attach to the frame, make it level, move it when you get a new picture,and of course take the hook off the wall!. They come in every size you could possibly need. They are wonderful in closets, pantries, bathrooms, etc. I don't ever want to leave my new home. But if I do, I won't ever have to worry about those nail holes.
