This is PINE plywood with a mahogany veneer. This is NOT a piece of Mahogany. My son was very disappointed when he cut into it and realized the under layers were all pine.

Rotary veneer from medium grade logs, which is basically useless when matching to anything other than more plywood. All three pieces were not flat making them hard to work with. Didn’t really need the custom cut feature but couldn’t figure out how to get it either. Better off buying elsewhere.

Great product

Great product. Perfect for furniture making. One corner was damaged from shipping. No big deal. They could protect the corners with foam. I will use this product again.

Worked well as a PC watercooling project board. In addition, the shipping box works very well for storing it when not in use.

I was initially skeptical about ordering mahogany plywood on line and having it shipped to my house, but I was not able to find this species locally. What I received was a great quality product, packed well, in superb condition. The faces and corners were not damaged in any way.

I cut the boards into round circles. Sometimes the edges have "band" crushing where they were shipped with a band to hold them together. It doesn't bother me, because I cut them into 2' circles. Just thought you would want to know. Bill Patrie

Cut perfectly to my specs and the quality of the wood was surprisingly good. Really nice finish made for a nice shelf.

I am glad Purebond is getting into this market of higher quality veneer plywoods. These are great with making specific wood projects where you can use hardwood along with the plywood veneer and keep the same wood species. The quality is what you would expect from a lumber yard. It cuts great, with limited tear out, and the grain patterns on the veneer are fantastic. They stain well. The only thing you have to watch out for is that the veneer is very thin to keep the weight down. Other than that, I fully endorse this product. The mahogany wood grain really pops when you finish it with polyurethane

Great quality plywood at a good price with quick shipping. Could not find this reasonably priced anywhere else and Homedepot.com came through!

The wood grain on the mahogany side is very attractive. Surprisingly both sides had a good looking grain! The laminate did not chip when cutting miters on a table saw or routing slots. Overall very happy with the appearance & quality.

I have used many of these panels with different species of veneer. ALL of them are good quality with few voids. This mahogany and the walnut are the most beautiful veneers so far. I like the maple too, but since it is so hard, it absorbs finish differently than the walnut or mahogany versions. This takes finish well and the natural wood colors "POP" under simple shellac and wax finish. The rotary-cut veneer leaves a very straight grained surface that looks almost too good to be true. Highly recommended!

Good quality plywood with uniform grain patterns. Furniture grade.

I've gone though a lot of purebond plywood. I mostly use it for shop fixtures and jigs - so it gets a lot of use. I've never had any issues with delaminating and while I have come across voids, they are few and far between. I had a specific purpose for this panel, but the veneer is not good. This looks like a really low grade Mahogany substitute like meranti. Maybe that's why the species isn't even spelled correctly in the listing (what's "Mohagany"?). I'm not looking for gorgeous figure here, but something resembling a true mahogany would be nice. However because this is decent ply and I only need one show face, I am just going to use it as a substrate and veneer it myself. On the bright side shipping was good. I'm always nervous when getting sheet goods delivered but Columbia/Home Depot do a really good job packing these up

The product was well packaged, undamaged and just what I wanted. I would recommend this product to anyone.

The outer ply on both side was nice but there were voids in the layers between the outer plys

The plywood was exactly what I wanted. The doors now look very good.

Solid, clean and very well packed. There was a minor ding on one edge but it is easily covered by edging. It is NOT rough like luan. I believe it's African Mahogany so it's color is on the white side as opposed to Honduran which is red. As another reviewer noted it has one very good side and one great side. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Too many voids in plys to be very useful for furniture. Edges damaged in shipping, but for convenience and price not to bad.

No voids- good solid poplar core means little expansion issues- veneer is good on one side, superb on the other. MADE IN USA!!!
