Fine piece of wood.

This is the second time I ordered project boards precut. I was super happy the first time. But this time several of the pieces arrived with large gauges on one side and corners broken. Doesnt make for a great finished piece.

My expectations were exceeded by the quality of the product. But, because the plywood had to be shipped to the store I was concerned about possible damage from handling. However the box was sturdy and the extra layers of cardboard protected the plywood from damage. My overall experience with customer service and product quality earns 5+ stars.

I purchased this product to replace the White Oak for the end panel piece of our kitchen cabinets that had been damaged. This is the only place I was able to specifically order White Oak in all of my searching. I really didn't know what to expect but the piece was protected in cardboard shipping and beautiful and usable on both sides. It stained up really nice with natural gel coat. Prior to that, all I did was a very light sanding with #120. I was very happy with the price and the finished product from Columbia Forest Products.

This was exactly what I needed for my project. Both sides had a very nice and knot free white oak veneer. I didn't want to pay shipping to have this delivered to my house so I had it delivered to my nearby store for free and picked it up while picking up some other items I needed.

Excellent piece of plywood. Arrived in perfect condition, well-packaged, with very clear grains and beautiful appearance.

I have purchased this company's maple plywood before and was prepared to do a lot of prep before finishing it. But to my surprise this plywood is already very smooth and requires very little sanding. I needed some shelves in my room to display some crafts and decided to try the oak plywood. Same high quality and nice grain. Finishes out very easily and looks high quality. Easy to work with and pleasing to look at.

This panel of plywood arrived in excellent condition and the wood grain is nice and straight. This appears to be oak on one side but something else entirely on the other side - more similar to maple or birch. Both sides are beautiful, but if you're looking for something oak on both sides this might not be it. I will definitely use the oak side for something, just have to figure what that might be.

Years ago I used red oak plywood to make a floor to ceiling bookcase with very satisfactory results, but I seldom use plywood for making furniture. This panel is being used for its structural properties: plywood is much less prone to warping than solid wood, especially when humidity changes. However I couldn't help but notice the beautiful grain pattern. The veneer is applies in 4 inch strips, so the end result looks as though you glued together solid planks to make the board. If my wife notices it, I can see myself making a lot of furniture!

Nice plywood, matched the color of a bar cabinet I had nicely. White oak plywood is difficult to find and I was concerned that I couldn't see this in the store first but was very happy with the product.

I ordered several varieties of these plywood sheets to do different projects in my home. I used this one for a simple book shelf in my office. I only needed a small shelf for a few heavy hardcover books and this was the perfect thickness to give it strength. The wood veneer pattern on it naturally makes it look beautiful. It cuts easy, and I had no problem screwing brackets into it. The wood comes pre-sanded so you only have to touch up after your cuts. It takes stain evenly for a richer finish. I was very pleased with every one of these that I ordered and all my projects came out looking professionally done.

Thought I was going to have to buy a 4x8 sheet of plywood for my small project. Tiny dent on one corner could have easily been worked around but ended up cutting off due to size needed. Dimensions true to those listed and nice surface finish.

I ordered this 2' x 4' board to cut it into two 1' x 4' boards for shelving in the laundry room. For whatever reason, our new house only has one long shelf in the laundry room, and it's fairly high and at the back of the washer/dryer, meaning my wife cannot reach things back there, especially heavy things like large detergent bottles. It's plywood, so it's not the most solid wood you'll find, but for shelving in a laundry room, it's decent. The white oak composition is a plus, and it's easily stainable and paintable. It doesn't seem like it'll warp, but that will be a test of time as the laundry room gets nice and humid. For little projects (like laundry room shelving), it's a nice looking piece of wood that cuts smooth with the right blade and has a decent finish. I'm sure I could've turned it into a bird house or some other small wooden box as well. You can find better wood for more money, but it depends on your project. It works great for a lot of low-profile projects.

The 1/2" white oak plywood has a really nice grain pattern and looks like it will stain nicely. This 2' x 4' panel can be used for multiple projects and easy to work with. I am a little disappointed that one corner was chipped when took out of box it was shipped in but only a small area and will cut of probably.
