Shower door
Shower door replacement was easy, but this product does not have the solidity of the older metal doors and is flimsier. That said, it works and looks good, but I don't think it will have the longevity of the older unit.

Very flimsy
I did not realize it until after the handyman I used had already installed it, but I would have returned this door if I had known how it was constructed. It is very flimsy since it has no frame on the top side, and the existing aluminum frames are thin and not very sturdy at all. And what you also end up with are some really sharp edges up on top as well, since there is no frame on the top. You just have the sharp ends. I would suggest to anyone to stay away from it.

This was the easiest install EVER. Great door. It has a slight tint to it but it works out fine. There is a vinyl strip on the bottom that is a bit frustrating to install otherwise it was great.

Love the door - very easy to install - took...
Love the door - very easy to install - took about an hour to take old door down and put new door up. Hardest part was finding a marker to fit through the holes to mark where to drill. We replaced an old door in the same style. Disappointed that our handle had a couple of dents, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the door. Love the door!

Poor quality
Very disappointed in this door. No caps for the top of the frame on the side. The bottom part of the frame is only attached with caulk, no way to better secure it. With the bottom weather stripping installed the door binds so bad that you can barely open it. Cannot recommend.

When properly installed, the door should not bind on the bottom sweep vinyl and it should be easy to open and close the door. Great shower door for the price. The beautiful frameless shower door I ordered from Home Depot exploded as my wife and I lifted it to position.....cutting my wife and i up pretty good . So i ordered the Coastal Shower door AND it was even better than expected.

shower door review
I had very specific requirements for my project, and this door was one of the few available options that met all the requirements. I like the door a lot, and it was very easy to install. One complaint is that it arrived with no hardware included (screws and anchors) and no instructions. If I hadn't already installed a similar door the lack of instructions might have been a problem. Fortunately, it worked out and the home owner is very happy with the door.
