There are five people in my household and combined we have a ridiculous amount of shoes. I bought 6’ shelving tracks and 6 shelfs to create an awesome way to organize everyone’s shoes. I thought 2 tracks would be enough but I would go with three if you use 6’ shelfs

I purchased 3 sets of the closetmaid shelf track 3 inch shoe shelf brackets. We are using them to hold up three shelves to make a shoe rack. They are very sturdy and durable in that they are holding up the shelves with six pairs of shoes on each shelf. They also are very versatile in that they can be used on any size shelf. Although they were designed for a 12 inch deep shelf, we are using 20 inch deep shelves and they are working just fine. We are very pleased with the product and would recommend it to anyone wanting to make the most of their closet space.

They did what was intended though I don't think they're very stable. Aldo the little plastic insertable parts would shoot off over and over. Pushing them in wasnt enough. I had to hammer them down.

Only problem is cost

Even though these are intended for shoes I’m using them to get all my tool battery chargers off the bench in my shop. The angle makes it easier to get batteries in and out and the height adjustment makes it easy to adapt to equipment changes.

The hardest part of installation is getting the little plastic piece onto the metal piece. Once that part is installed the rest is easy. I love having a shoe rack! Very happy satisfied customer.
