I really like how this garage door looks, even from inside the garage—looks a lot more solid than the other ones I’ve had.

We build custom homes and use Grand Valley Garage doors. The service and quality are great. They know what we need and work so well with us. We have used a variety of doors with and without windows.

New door looks great and operates so smoothly - so glad we finally replaced our old Clopay door! At 25 years it was still in great shape because Clopay makes such a excellent product, but it was starting to look "dated". The new Gallery door is SHARP & already getting complements!

Also love that ours are wireless and we can even open and shut them when we aren’t home. So smart!! The color is perfect and they go perfect with our brick. Awesome insulated steel garage door

This is a great door and we are very happy with it.

First using the Clopay software was a great tool for selecting our door style and color. After the installation we were extremely happy with the quietness of the door while operating and the quality of the wood grain was top notch.

The design of the garage door was a nice up-grade for my home

Quality of what I received was good and easy to assemble but it did not include the window glass I ordered. Cloplay was understanding of my trouble and allowed me to keep the glass they did send while the correct panel was produced. (Still waiting to see if it has a matching finish)

So happy with our new door. It gave our home a new and fresh look. Neighbors say it looks rich looking and gave our home a completely different look. The black handles and hinges really stand out.

I strongly recommend you do NOT buy a Clopay product through Home Depot. Their customer service is so bad I'm compelled to write the first poor product review I've ever given. Bottom line - they make a decent door but you will NOT be supported if anything doesn't go perfectly with the install - and there is a lot that can need small attention. My situation = they sent mismatched decorative hardware with the door. Nobody along the line noticed the codes didn't match (the Home Depot person entering the order, the person processing the order, the person stuffing the box, the installer, etc). No big deal right? You just swap out the piece that doesn't match. WRONG. Clopay and Home Depot bounce you back and forth between their companies, and ultimately Clopay tells you to buy a new hardware kit AND pay for installation again (even though the wrong hardware was never installed with the door - it's literally sitting in the box). So their solution was to 1) buy hardware twice, 2) pay to have it installed again, and 3) put the original wrong hardware in a drawer as a couple hundred dollar souvenir because they do NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS. This situation is so silly...it's such a simple swap and I was floored to learn how little they care about customers after the sale. They couldn't get us off their phone fast enough. Home Depot is generally good about these small things so I'm guessing they're not aware of the support practices of their contractor - Clopay. Home Depot rejected my initial review because it linked to a load of bad reviews from others (I was trying to help people out since I didn't research enough initially) but I strongly encourage you to search reviews outside of Home Depot and be fully aware of all the problems similar to mine before you make your purchase decision.

My husband installed the door himself- and we have found the quality of the door to be excellent. However- we have a garage which drives into a foundation level basement so the installation of the tracks as well as the sensors for the door have presented issues. Not for those w/o handyman skills.

The door is fine but the torsion springs are extremely noisy. Googled a remedy and apparently this is a known issue. The remedy that we found was to spray the springs with lithium grease but sadly this only lasts for 2-3 days and then we have to reapply. Not only expensive but also potentially messy for vehicles passing under the springs. Really wish that there was a permanent remedy for fix this issue.

First of all Home Depot & AA Garage door were great to deal with. We were happy with the product, however, not happy with Clopay. We purchased multiple doors with windows and decorative hardware. We've had many issues starting with the first scheduled appointment. The installers showed up and only had one door, Clopay blamed the installer. Three weeks later the installers showed up again and had both doors, however only hardware for one and the glass was wrong. One door had obscure glass the other had clear glass. Clopay blamed Home Depot. We were told it would be another 2 weeks to get the correct glass and hardware. The third time the installers showed up they had the correct glass but only enough for two windows, our door has four. Clopay blamed Home Depot. Now we have to wait another two weeks. Can't wait to see what happens next. Extremely disappointed in Clopay. DO NOT use Clopay, use another company.

Great upgrade to the house!

We were happy with the product, however, not happy with Clopay, the door company. Issues with the order from day 1. We purchased multiple doors and some came with broken windows. We were told that they will order and come back in less than 14 days to install. After 14 days we call back and the company had no idea what we were talking about. We called back to Home Depot and same answer. The installation of the accessories were done sloppy , so they had to come back and fix them. After 2 months of phone calls to both; door company and Home Depot, they finally came and completed the job. The product looks good, not sure if the two months of headaches worth it. Plus they trashed the property.

The Good: Great looking doors. I installed 2 in same weekend. They have really increased the curb appeal. The capability to wind up the torsion springs with a drill is a great improvement. The Bad: One of the doors had approx. foot long scratches from the factory. Same spot on 2 of the panels. It can't be seen today once you are more than 5 feet away but the scratches go through the paint so I'm concerned about rust. The Ugly: You need to Second guess all installation instructions. The worst offender is the template for drilling holes through the bottom of the door for the handle. 1/2" up from the edge on one side and 1" up from the edge on the other. If you're not careful you will wind up with a total disaster Uglier yet. The drums for holding the cable historically were narrow and large diameter. Today they are small diameter and wide. The net result is that as the cable winds up on the drum the cable scrapes on the edges of the door panels. I loosened all hardware and pushed the rails as far out as they could go in the slots and the cable still catches the edge of the door panel. On one of the doors I was replacing I kept the old drums in place and do not have this issue. Bad engineering.

Door looks gorgeous but the grill framework on the glass appear very cheap looking, they don't fit tight around the glass windows.

beautiful door but grill doesn't fit windows properly and it is very noticable. It makes the door look cheap and that really distracts from quality of door.

I originally planned to install these doors myself but because of the work involved in converting a car port into a garage, I was ready for some help after doing all the framing work. So I can't really comment on the ease of installation. As far as quality, appearance and value, I can state without any reservation that I'm very happy with these doors.
