Don’t Expect customer support to be useful
I will never buy a Cloplay product again. Purchased a 16x7 insulated garage door in 2015 from Home Depot. Called today to get information about the spring (which I have in hand with a label stating size and part number) and was told they could not give me ANY information without the door serial number. The serial number is printed on a paper label affixed to the bottom of the door and has long since detached itself. This most likely happened during the Great Flood in 2016.

I was able to locate your telephone call and it is my understanding you have recently installed your Clopay garage door and was wanting a quote to convert your springs from EZ torsion springs to standard torsion springs. I am so sorry for your experience, but in order to properly quote for the standard torsion springs, we would need to have the Serial # PID # from the label on inside of door or the information on the label on side of the door panels. The reason we need to obtain this information is to be able to pull your order to review the door configuration, which includes not only the Model #, but also includes the windows and track on your door. Since you were unable to locate the needed labels, we provided you the contact information for your nearest Clopay dealer. I certainly hope you were able to contact the Clopay dealer and obtain the standard torsion springs. If not, please contact Clopay at reviews@clopay.com. Thanks! The Clopay Team.

Honesty
The professional installation and follow-up corrections eventually became satisfactory. The delays in shipment of the overall package was excessive but we must understand the materials required to complete the entire installation with the right materials. We applaud the Clopay decisions to not substitute inferior materials and the delays were worth it.

Quieter operation and beautiful
Replaced a 35 yr. old double-sized garage door with a Clopay on our heated garage where we entertain often, even during harsh Wisconsin winters. We're impressed with such improved insulation, and the Cherrywood steel is beautiful. Much quieter operation too. The technician who first came to inspect and measure (assuring a smooth installation) was professional and answered all questions. The installers were steller too, gave us maintenance tips, knew their product well. We highly recommend Clopay garage doors, very happy with our purchase. Packer game days in the garage are even more warm and enjoyable now.

Garage door weatherstrip
Ordering was a long wait. We didn't mind. We understood with the pandemic, Shipping of parts caused the delay. The doors are wonderful. We did notice when unpacking the panels, the bottom panel weatherstripping was out of shape. We had hoped with warmer weather. That it would regain its correct shape. It did not. We are working and hoping for a replacement.

New Clopay Door Issues/Quality
Just installed one of five doors this weekend and to begin one of the panels had a scratch in the painted finish. Now if I were installing these on someone else's property I would have had to reject the panel, but it was for my own residence and it had already taken four months to get them in the first place. Second is it came with random door stop lengths which will not be allow me to install all doors without having to attempt to splice the door stop material in some form or another which is unacceptable. I will be reaching out to the vendor to rectify this issue, and will follow up with new ratings after interaction with them. As far as overall door quality I will be further examing there performance with a FLIR gun over the following days and throughout the year to see if the increase in R value is truly beneficial, and minus the scratch and some random overrun of foam from certain seams they seemed like a decent door compared to others we have installed.
