I really wanted to like this umbrella. It arrived yesterday, earlier than scheduled in an undamaged box. However, the strap is poorly designed. Rather than stitching it in one of the rib seams, it’s attached in the middle of a panel and arrived with a hole. I haven’t decided if I should return or not. I certainly don’t feel comfortable using the strap for fear of making the hole worse. Attention manufacturer - either move the strap or reinforce it!

This is my second California umbrella and both umbrellas broke right after the 1 year. I purchase this umbrella in May 22, 2020 (reveived June 2, 2020), because it was advertised has aluminum frame, pole, etc. Well the frame is aluminum, but the wire holding the ribs to the pole it is not aluminum and will rust within a year, just like my umbrella did. Do not spend the extra money, you are better off spending less in other brands and replacing the umbrella every year.

Broke in less than a week! Delivered on April 25, 2021, today is April 30. Raised it every day this week and lowered it in the evenings, just in case the winds kicked up. The crank-tilt feature is nice instead of reaching up to push a button to tilt it manually. Cranking it the first time to get it to tilt took some effort (directions warn to to over crank) but it worked by cranking it slowly until it gave in. Afterwards, it was easy to crank after the umbrella was open to engage the tilt. I tried opening the umbrella this morning. I kept turning the crank and nothing happened because the handle became loose as I turned it. I guessing the inner string is also disconnected because there was no tension to open the umbrella. I am making an unplanned trip to HD to return it today. The deep dark navy color was exactly what we wanted and the canvas-like material is good quality. Bought it because of the dark blue color and tilt feature. We decided to pay over $100 to have the convenient tilt feature. Very disappointed. Will be buying the a less expensive manual tilt umbrella to replace this.

Just received it so very hard to review or recommend it at this point. My concern is the material used for the umbrella. It seems to be thin and I hope that it will last. Overall the product seems to be well and looks very nice. Time will tell and I can possibly review at a later date.

Very nice looking, on the gray side of navy which was perfect for me. Tilt feature works great. Need to use strong weighted base.

Easy to assemble. Tilts easily Does not take much of a breeze to move it! Provided shade for desired area.

The product is great! It is light weight, nice quality fabric and the Umbrella is easy to use. It is nice that it has the tilt feature to block the sun from different angles. We have had the Umbrellas for 3 weeks now. We have 2 Umbrellas for our outdoor staff area and have them inside 2 commercial picnic tables. They fit great into the Picnic Tables we already had.

Arrived in a timely fashion, looks great, went together well. I'm buying another one.

After looking at every hardware box store in the STL area, I found exactly want I was looking for online with Home Depot. I have had a lot of luck with ordering items online with HD that they don't carry in the box store. This item is very well made, the umbrella color and oil rubbed bronze pole was exactly as represented and at less than a $100 it was a deal in my opinion. I have had several compliments on it.

This umbrella BLEW IN HALF during a storm. I ordered it in Oct 2015 and loved it, had no problems with fading etc. Come February, a 5 minute storm took the entire thing and bent it in half. I life in Florida, and the storms are frequent and powerful - BUT this particular storm was NOT severe by any means. Past 90 days... HD wouldn't replace. Within the 6 mon. Manufacturer warranty but of course they said that they don't replace it due to weather-related incidences. They offered a "Discounted replacement" for $60 + $50 shipping + tax + a $4 processing fee. I CAN RE-ORDER FROM HD FOR LESS THAN THAT. With that said, stay away from this aluminum pole, it is garbage.

So far so good. Of course it's a newer umbrella and part of the criteria for any product must be how it lasts, particularly an outdoor product, but the price was right and it looks fabulous. We used to have one that was beige in color and it was just way too dull for the yard. The hardware on this is of every bit the quality of the old one and the old one was a lot more expensive. I was thrilled to have found and purchased this umbrella at this price.

The umbrella came with a stain on it. As matter fact, there were several stains.

The umbrella looks nice and good quality. It’s a bit longer (higher) than previous umbrellas. I hope the wind will not be a problem

I purchased this California umbrella but did not have cover in box. Please advise.

I bought yellow that didn't tilt better model, when I tried to tilt didn't work and if I cranked too hard afraid string would break

Very sturdy. Fabric is thick. I love the tilt feature. Comes fully assembled. It’s worth the money to get a better quality product.

It doesn't tilt as much as I had expected so it really isn't providing the sun protection I had hoped. The quality and appearance is good.
