Did exactly what I needed it to do. Twist down expanding gasket provided tight seal for my old cast iron clean out pipe to prevent overflow from my washing machine draining.

Product was great other than it cracked cast iron pipe that I put it in so learn from my mistake and dont tighten it to much

Fits great, and works for my alternate purpose of a removable end cap for a fishing pole holding tube.

I bought this to prevent sewage from coming up the 6 Inch sewage pipe into my basement. It prevented a lot of the sewage from coming into my basement, but some water is still leaking in. That may not be the application this gripper was designed for.

Work as described.

Temporarily or permanently plug or cap off the end run of a pipe, to test or inspect the pipe diagram for possible leaks, these gripper plugs can be used in applications including DWV (drain, waste and vent) testing and stack testing, the end-of-pipe design seals only at the end of a pipe, therefore one must plug the other end or side of the system to be tested, with a cherne test ball or plug of sorts.

GOOD QUALITY........HAVE USED THIS ON SEVERAL PROJECTS AND IT DID NOT GET STUCK OR JAMMED NOR DID THE RUBBER EXPANDABLE SECTION GET CUT OR SHREDDED. I HAVE USED THE SMALLER ONES TO PLUG UP MY SWIMMING POOL PLUMBING DURING WINTERIZING AND THEY SIT OUTSIDE IN HARSH WEATHER ALL WINTER AND HAVE BEEN USING THEM WITH EASE FOR YEARS NOW.....I DO RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

This mechanical plug is super easy to use, super strong and seems to hold great. The wing nut makes tightening and losing extremely easy to handle without having to go find any wrenches or other tools. The rubber seal seems to be very well made and seals extremely well. I would fully recommend this item to anyone in need of a 3 inch ABS mechanic plug.

This plug worked wonderfully. I used it on my chlorine dispenser. This is so much better than the standard screw in style. Easy to fit in the hole and screw the wing nut to tighten. It was not too hard to turn at all. Looks well made and I believe it will last. The yellow color is easy to spot, but could be painted if you didn't want it to be easily seen. This is a great plug.

Needed a removable plug for a concrete septic tank lid and this one fits perfect in a 6 inch hole and tightens up easily to prevent odor from escaping and to keep water from getting in.

These were excellent products and effectively closed off the Schedule 80 6" pipe in both the normal end and the bell end. I had been planning to build my own set, but finally decided to purchase these to support our efforts to heat and bend Schedule 80 pipe. The plugs were an excellent purchase.
